Dr. Christopher G Martin, MD

I would not let this man treat my dog. Dr Martin ruin fifteen very important developmental years of my life. Unfortunately, at the time I did not know any better. He chose to recommend electroconvulsive therapy (about 40 treatments over three years) but refused to prescribe lithium to a patient with textbook bipolar disorder. It has been years since I changed doctors and have been lucky to become a stable, functioning adult but not a day passes where I don’t wonder how my life would have been different , what I could have achieved if it was not for his incompetence. Also, the staff at his office are the rudest group of people I have ever encountered in my life. They make you feel ashamed to be a patient and are no help whatsoever. Do not let this man do to you what he did to me.

Dr. Martin, along with Dr. Richard Bennett failed to properly screen my father for suicidal ideations at Bry-Lin Hospital. Although my father arrived with his bags packed to stay at Bry-Lin, Dr. Martin sent him home (without proper suicide screening) . My father was dead from suicide within about a week.

I've been going to Dr. Martin for years and he has never let me down. It's not always just going for a dr appointment but almost catching up with an old friend who helps in anyway possible. There's nothing I can say I dislike except I wish I found him before this unprofessional dr I saw before him. (Not at his office. Completely different place)
