Dr. McMackin is interested in the patient. He is very astute & tuned in to the patient. He is thorough, misses nothing & has an incredible bedside manner. He is definitely the Gold Standard in the world of Internal Medicine & Physicians period. The staff just outstanding also!

Your satisfaction with this office depends on what's most important to you in a PCP. For me it's the overall experience. Dr. McMackin is the most caring and knowledgeable doctor I have been to in several years. He is an amazing doctor, the front desk staff not so much. There is an African American female there now who is consistently rude and talks to you in a very condescending manner. It's a shame such an amazing doctor is behind such a horrible staff. I miss the other women who was there. She made this office outstanding.

I called at nine in the morning to make an appt. she said she would have to call me back. She never did. I called again and was told if I don't have the patience to wait for a call back to make the appt I should find another doctor.

Dr. McMackin is very thoughtful and thorough. Only issue I have had (and it has been a constant issue) is the billing staff. I can't get responses by email or phone. My claim was submitted to wrong insurance company multiple times and it has been impossible to get action on this.

Dr. McMackin is the best. He actually calls you back in few hours and has always been there for me. I am very to fortunate to have him as my GP. His bedside manner is great, he is caring, he is the real stuff.

Dr. McMackin is a very personable and compassionate physician. He spends the time to listen and address your concerns and never appears to be rushing you in and out. He is smart enough to "know what he doesn't know" and refer to specialists when the occasion calls for it. Appointments are easy and timely, no real waiting in the office to be seen, the staff are competent, friendly and courteous.
