Dr. Christopher Lee Newton, MD, PhD

I've been taking my kids to Dr Newton for nearly two years and we really liked him. I had a scheduled visit this morning at 8:40. My Son was car sick on the way and its a 25 minute drive. I called the office, received a recording and it didn't allow me to leave a message. I walked in with my two boys (both under 2) and was less than 10 minutes late as i was cleaning up my Son I was told the office I tried to call and no one answered. I was denied our appointment. I asked them if they would confirm with Dr Newton. At 8:52, I was told he wouldn't see us. We have spent hours waiting on him over the years and he couldn't spare 10 minutes for me to clean up vomit off my 23-month-old Son. I told them I'd find a new pediatrician and they handed me paperwork to have the new office fax over. I've never in 40 years, ever fired a physician. Today was the first. The office staff has always been uncaring but we were very disheartened that 10 minutes cost him 2 patients. We won't be… going back.
