Dr. Christopher Paul Oboynick, MD

After a TKR , Hip replacement and being in so much pain , I was referred to Dr. Oboynick from my PCP. I brought all my records MRI and Xrays. Which is when I was told I needed a new back x ray which I did . Dr, Oboynick then told me I had back issues - my L4 L5 was sitting on my sciatic nerve & would need surgery. OP microdiscectomy and was told that would fix my issue and pain . Im now 3 months out. I can not walk , sit sleep on any side but my left side & struggle to get out of any chair or walk . Im worse now than before the surgery. I went back for a follow up visit at the beginning of Aug 2020 .That's when Dr. Oboynick asked me if I was better and my reply - no Im worse. He then said how. I explained what I had mentioned above he asked where my pain was and I told him . He then replied - see you are better your pain used to go to your ankle. I asked a few more questions , told him I read about failed microdiscectomy and asked about that he abruptly replied - where did you read… that I said the internet . He said well then since you think your microdiscectomy failed we will get an MRI do you have any other questions ? I replied I guess not - his response- I just want to make sure because typically after you come here or call you will ask the same question more than once ! I want to make sure I have answered all your questions ! On another visit I asked about the pain and mentioned my hip so I had a hip x ray that's when he told me I had arthritis in my hip and probably needed a hip replacement .Bottom line Im worse than before his surgery- the arthritis in my hip did not just suddenly appear ! This man has no compassion for anyone failed surgery or not or anyone in pain. If he gets in a tither about asking a question more than once ask yourself if you want someone like this to cut on you ! Im sure other people may make the same mistake and ask a question more than once . Dr Oboynick lacks compassion & has no bedside manners & I seriously doubt his surgery expertise .

He did an excellent repair of my fractured femur. I am a 97 year old woman who is back in my villa as a result of the successful procedure. Also Kim, a nurse at his office, expedited matters related to my progress at a rehabilitation facility. Thanks Kim.

He did my neck surgery and I am doing good. I would recommend him to anybody. He is a excellent doctor.

Worst experience of my life, went to another doctor and found out I actually had a large tumor this idiot missed

Dr O'Boynick went to battle for me when my Insurance co. DENIED my surgery he did contact the co. and spoke to Dr there and it was APPROVED and thanks to this great Dr he performed my surgery it has been 3 months and i am doing Great I walk everyday now.

Dr Oboynik is amazing! He was right on and my surgery was a success!

Wish that all Drs took as much time and were as thorough as Dr O'boynick
