Dr. Christopher D Passidomo, MD

Dr. Passidomo has Ben by far the best doctor I have Ben to. He correctly diagnosed me and has had me on the correct medications so that I can live and function and work normally on a day to day basis with ailments I've Ben struggling with since I was in my early teens. He listens like a psychologist and actually cares about what you've Ben through. He doesnt just write you a prescription and say NEXT! NO Dr. P IS BY FAR THE BEST.

I see that reviews are either one star or five stars. I will just say that I found Dr. Passidomo when I went onto disability and needed medication on medicaid/medicare. He is a nice man, he listens when you speak to him. He didn't seem familiar with common generic psychiatric medications, but he was engaged and asked follow up questions. The issue I had was that after several weeks he was absent, to the point that I would have to wait at the door for an hour or more only to go home without a Rx. Then other weeks I would come and the secretary would hand me a bag with temporary medication. All of this seemed very unorthodox. But as anyone on medicaid knows you don't have many choices. I believe in the better natures of human nature. I will say that there were a lot of obvious drug addicts in the waiting room, but that is not a reflection on the DR. as other reviewers have intimated. It's the best of a terrible situation both for the DR and the patients.

I read alot of the Drs. Reviews. They were awful that made me really angry , how dare some people complain that he's handicapped that's just not cool at all , He is a very understanding loving person Genioune man who loves and adores animals , he sits and listens to me when I've had problems, most phyciatrist could care less u go in for meds and they don't ask how your doing . So Dr. Passidomma I think your wonderful.??

This is not an exaggeration. By far the worst psychiatrist I’ve ever had the experience to meet. First and foremost, he’s very old and ill. He has crippling arthritis and regularly breaks his legs/ankle and will not be able to see patients for weeks. He parks in the handicapped fire zone as well as showing up to appointments hours late. I would wait to see him on average 1-2 hours. There would be more than 5 patients waiting at a time. Coming into the office, sometimes I would be told that he cannot come in. After waiting an hour or two, sometimes he we stroll in and take 25 min to get ready bc he is constantly in a wheelchair or in crutches. In between patients he would a bathroom break and of course he had trouble getting on/off toilet. You could hear him struggle from the waiting room as he went to the bathroom. The secretary for a long time were a group of drug addicts who would smoke inside the building and the office wreaks if cigarette smoke. It was revealed that the… people at the secretary desk were writing illegal prescriptions and were all arrested. After, it’s been secretaries that keep quitting because they couldn’t deal with Passidomo. He has a picture of a Venezuelan supermodel on his desk in a bikini. When you ask who she is, it’s his girlfriend who lives in Venezuela who he has never met but will going to be marrying. May I need to say more?? Please stay away from this doctor. He is an absolute idiot who has no business working at this point in his life/condition. He was the only psychiatrist covered my insurance at the time in my area so I saw him for a couple of years.

Dr Passidomo is the first psychiatrist I've seen that has actually been able to listen to me and correctly diagnose my disorders. With his help I was finally able to find the right medication after years and years of going on and off new medications. With his help, I'm finally on the road to leading a normal life.

Office staff is not reliable to follow through on call-in of prescriptions. I recently picked up a new prescription and was charged the co-pay even though my son didn't see the doctor. Time for a new doctor that spends the appropriate amount of time with my son and doesn't nickel and dime me to death.

Please be careful.....this man does not deserve to be in this profession Stars....absolutely not one......Just find someone who is dedicated and honest....keep away

I heard about this doctor from my insurance company. I set an appointment a month or so in advance. I am an easy patient, I have ADHD, I just need to keep on the same prescription. 30 minutes before my appointment, I recieve a phone call that he has to cancel. I am agitated, but set an appointment for the next week. I show up at 5:30 for a 5:45 appointment, and the door is locked. I jiggle the handle and the receptionist walks out. I tell her my name and she says to me, "I called and left a message, He's not coming in today." I politely said to her, "That's fine, I'll find another doctor." And walked away. Never, have I ever been treated so discourteously, and I have seen some ridiculously discourteous psychiatrists. Do not attempt to make an appointment with this doctor. The one star on this review doesn't do it justice. He deserves negative stars.

So I can't say whether or not he was a good doctor due to the fact that he cancelled on me twice in a row, hours before my appopintments when I really needed to see someone. He is completely unreliable.

I have never been to a Dr. who has as little respect for the patients that are waiting for him in his waiting room. I have brought my daughter to see him over a dozen times, and have never waited for less than an hour. If we have a 3:45 appt, he sometimes doesn't even show up till 4:30. And I just realized that he is double billing my insurance company $300 for both my daughter & myself for the 5 minutes he spends with us! We have since changed Dr.s, but in our search for a new Dr, not one said they charge the insurance companies for both of us, even though she is 15. I find his practice completely unethical.
