Dr. Christopher Bauer Pesavento, MD

During my last visit Dr Pesavento asked if I needed any refills I stated I was getting patient asst & was getting my Restais free His tone of voice changed & he said "I don't have time to work with paperwork" I mentiomed he might want to advice his other patients of this offer He yelled at me "WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO IGNORE MY OTHER PATIENTS?" & slammed the door so hard you could've heard it all over the ofc. I found another DR but today received a certified letter stating he no longer could be my DR. Little did he know I'd already found another DR!!! Glad I don't have to work for him plus over the years his ofc help sure keeps changing.

Dr. Pesavento is a horrible physician. He is disrespectful, and dismissive of his patients. He lacks compassion, patience, and empathy. He clearly does not care about his patients. His history taking and physical exam are non-existent. He gets visibly annoyed if you ask a question and interprets questions as a challenge to his training (he literally said so). In fact, after quickly dismissing the diagnosis I was given by another physician and for which I was referred to Dr. Pesavento, when I expressed confusion, he immediately suggested that I go see another ophthalmologist and can leave his office. He was incredibly rude to both myself and family who came with me to his office. I have never had a worse interaction with a physician and typically only have great things to say. It also turns out that, after asking around, my experience is quite common for those who have had the misfortune of seeing him. I truly had an awful experience with this doctor and encourage you all to see… someone else who will treat you like a human being. There are great ophthalmologists in Indianapolis and he is most certainly not one of them.
