Dr. Christopher Rittmeyer

Dr. Rittmeyer is an exceptionally gifted doctor. He saved my daughter's life. She would end up in the hospital for months at a time. My child ended up needing a transplant. She was 16 years old at the time. Today, she is 40 years old. Thank you so much Dr. Rittmeyer for all of your hard work, your dedication to your profession and your patients. You are appreciated!

Very quick and efficient! Dr. Rittmeyer was ready to come in for evaluation before my little dude could get weighed! Jessica Dolley, Kayla Hines, and Haley Marshall were amazing! They had us scheduled to come back and all of our needed paperwork for WIC, work excuses and our "go to" paper with all of their contact info on it (very helpful) within a matter of minutes! This is by far the best experience I have ever endured with my children! Dr. Rittmeyer was so kind, loving and made us both feel very comfortable and welcome! 10/10 reccomend!

I took my daughter there 4 weeks ago & she warmed right up to him. He was great, funny & genuinely concerned. I could tell he actually wanted to help her. His receptionists SUCK. If you go, request him & not Patti. I felt like she just wanted to shoo us outta there as quickly as possible. She didn’t give a crap about my daughter’s situation, is the way she came across.

After having a baby that never stoped crying for the first 6 weeks,and countless doctors that didn’t help we saw Dr. Rittmeyer. Within 3 days after that she slept, and only woke up to eat. Fine doctor, thanks doc.

doctor rittmeyer saved my life when i was a baby. hes better than my own doctor. hes funny and he has a great personility. hes the perfect surgen for ur child!!!!! if he saved me than he can definatly save ur child and im only 10 years old!!!!

His office is very helpful--everyone listens to me. I would recommend him to anyone.

After seeing this doctor for almost a year, he never helped my sons situation. Very RUDE and unprofessional. I would reccomend any doctor over Dr. Rittmeyer. Still in shock of how he spoke to my family.

Our daughter has had severe stomach issues including pain and reflux for two years. We were rarely seen by Dr. Rittmeyer and only by nurses or practitioners. The diagnosis was always constipation. She was admitted to the hospital by his staff for a "cleansing" and never improved. We took her to the Children's Hospital in Jacksonville where two other GI's who consulted with a third GI, diagnosed her with a different condition and we finally got answers and she got relief. Rittmeyer works for the hospital and not for himself. He has no incentive to be efficient (thus the long waits) or to be competent as he gets paid not matter what. It is a terrible business and practice. Do not take your child to him as you will waste time, energy and money.

Dr. Rittmeyer is amazing, but his receptionist is rude. I called recently to schedule an appointment and she cut off every sentence I said with irrelevant information from her assumptions. That's too bad, since it makes doing business with this doctor almost impossible and he happens to be one of the best.

If I could give 0 stars, I wouldn't hesitate! DO NOT GO TO THE CENTER FOR DIGESTIVE AND LIVER HEALTH AND ENDOSCOPY CENTER of Savannah, GA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You will be tricked and lied to. ACTIVE DUTY, they do not comply with their Tricare contract and will charge you for services not covered. $450 to be exact! FYI active duty DO NOT have a copay!!!!! Do not pay any copay or deductible, it will be forever, if ever, before you will be reimbursed. They will turn on any Tricare representative that you may call (by being as rude and argumentative as possible) claiming that you signed a waiver and are therefore responsible for the bill! NOT TRUE!!!I If they lose their Tricare contract, they cannot serve anyone with Tricare insurance. they even told me that we are not special just because we have Tricare. They say that they treat Tricare and Blue Cross/Blue Shield equally. Tricare is not public, commercial insurance. How many poor saps have not questioned it and paid? DON'T give them your… business! So outraged!!
