Dr. Christopher Michael Sarno, MD

If I could give negative stars, I would. This man jumps to surgery too soon. He operated on me and caused permanent nerve damage that has impacted my ability to live a normal life. Do not trust him with your life or your child’s.

I found Dr. Sarno to be aggressive and unable to present any options to me except surgery. He didn't seem to listen as I told him I wasn't interested in pursuing surgery at this point and gave me no other options to deal with my pain and discomfort. I have since learned that he is the owner of part owner of the surgery unit he suggested I do my surgery at. This is an obvious conflict of interest. I would never go back. Beware the lack of options!

I originally went into Family ENT to find other ways to fix my allergies, but upon my initial exam they felt I needed a consult with Dr. Sarno due to the construction of my nose. My appointment with Dr. Sarno was great. He explained the structural challenges of my nose and why I can’t breathe through it. He explained surgical solutions and did a great job explaining everything in depth. Family ENT made it so easy to coordinate with my work and insurance to guarantee everything was covered and in network. Day of surgery Dr Sarno performed one last exam and discussed the plan of attack, possible outcomes and aftercare. After surgery he was there when I came to and talked to me and my family about the successful surgery and aftercare. We had a follow up appointment next day where everything went well and a we had one week follow up. His bedside manner was excellent and he made sure I understood that he was there for any questions or concerns at anytime! It’s been 4 weeks, my nose looks… amazing and I can finally breathe through my nose, something I could never do before. Christopher Sarno understands that with form comes function and really cares about giving you a nose that booth looks great and works great. I keep getting compliments on how good I look and I feel great being able to really breathe for the first time in my life! I plan on writing another review after my last follow up appointment when I’m more healed but so far it’s been amazing.

If less than one star was an option, that’s what I would select. As you can see, the current address listed on google and on waze are the same location, 518 US-1. This is the location I went to for an appointment with my 5 year old son, which took over two weeks to get when my child was having severe breathing problems, sinus and tonsil issues, and his primary care would not prescribe an antibiotic. I drove to the location listed here and on waze, their old location. Once I realized, I called the office and they notified me of their new location at the York hospital office on route 1 in kittery. I was less than 10 minutes away... which put me at less than 15 minutes late for the appointment... and they refused to see my son. I planned my whole day around this appointment and am entirely disappointed at the way I have been treated. I do not recommend this service to anyone else.... should have seen Doctor Anderson in Exeter as originally recommended.
