Excellent experience

An arthritic hip rapidly deteriorated and life was suddenly miserable with pain and the inability to do the simplest things. My decision to have the hip replacement was made with excellent information from Dr. Sheu and his staff. Then, just as I was scheduled for surgery, the Covid-19 lockdown happened and it was postponed. When Skagit Regional opened up, I was ready as the pain was unbearable. I had complete confidence in Dr. Sheu and he gave excellent, straightforward information on the now enhanced safety processes worked. Dr. Sheu was thorough and answered all my questions with great detail. My hip is healing nicely and 3 months later I am so grateful for his excellent care and surgical skills. It's a huge deal to have a surgery like this and I was naturally nervous. But Dr. Sheu was the best and I am 1000% happy I did this surgery. It's changed my life. I highly recommend Dr. Sheu and his personable staff. Thank you Dr. Sheu for getting me back to pain free living and… working in my garden again!

Dr. Sheu performed my surgery when I broke my right hand. So remarkable were his surgery that I experienced almost no pain after the surgery. Under his expert guidance, I began to regain use of my hand. He is great with follow up and has an excellent bedside manner; I will definitely seek him out the next time I need orthopedic surgery and highly recommend him to my friends and colleagues (I have no family in the US or would send them to him too!).

When I broke my wrist, Dr. Sheu performed my surgery. So remarkable were his surgical skills that I had little to no pain after the surgery and under his expert guidance, I began to regain mobility in my hand. He has an excellent bedside manner and is great with follow up appointments so if I ever need orthopedic surgery again, I will definitely seek Dr. Sheu out.

If you are like me, you need a surgeon to replace a joint, but you don't know where to get the procedure. You want the very best doctor you can find. I spent a lot of time talking to people that had hip replacements to find out where to go. When I first met Dr Sheu I was a little scared because he looked so young. I'm in my sixties and I just assumed a surgeon would be old too. Long story short, I decided to trust Dr. Sheu for the procedure. I had to be trusting because at that time there really wasn't a lot of social media reviews about him to mitigate my anxiety. Dr. Sheu exceeded all of my expectations. The man is a magician. I am so thankful to have found him. After the first hip replacement my other hip acted up. Again, I went back to Dr. Sheu. Today (one year later) I an doing great. NO MORE PAIN at all. I often walk ten miles or at least bike for an hour...NO PAIN. I even went back to doing martial arts. In closing, if you need a joint replaced call Dr. Sheu. Stop… stressing about which surgeon to chose. He will fix you up and get your life back.

I can finally swim and play pickle ball now.
