I highly recommend Dr. Thompson. He takes time to listen to concerns and ease anxiety. He is the best!

Dr. Thompson is absolutely the best. He knows his stuff and is caring and helpful. I've seen him for over 16 years, through 3 pregnancies, and can't recommend him highly enough. All of the ladies in my family go to him and would agree!

I have always been impressed with the care I receive from Dr. Thompson, both while pregnant and now several years post baby. He is very thorough and knowledgeable. I appreciate that he is willing to spend time answering questions and ensures the patient is comfortable with any next steps. I’ve never felt rushed during my appointments and I tend to ask a lot of questions! He is great at letting you ‘have a seat at the table’ when it comes to your health and any decisions that need to be made. He is genuine and I’ve always felt that he truly cares about the well-being of his patients. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Thompson is simply the best!

Due to some past medical trauma, I have extremely high anxiety regarding the standard annual checkups. Dr. Thompson was very understanding, listened to my concerns, and took the time to make sure I felt comfortable, also checking in throughout the exam. He was personable and warm, and made sure to have a woman nurse in the room as well, which I appreciated. I would recommend him, especially if you have had bad experiences in the past.

I have been a patient at Hawthorne OB/GYN since 2008, it is a great practice and the providers truly care about you. The staff and providers are very knowledgeable and considerate of every patients needs. I am currently pregnant and I am confident that this practice will provide the best care for me. I would highly recommend this practice!!!

I thought the staff was very rude and unprofessional. They scared my daughter to the point of sobbing as we left the building. Not one person would listen to her worries. This is her first pregnancy and she had a lot of questions which didn't seem to matter to anyone. The ultrasound tech left the room to speak to the doctor, who found the time to pass messages along to my daughter through the tech but couldn't be bothered to grace us with his presence to discuss anything with the actual patient. The nurse would not even tell my daughter what five vials of blood were being drawn to test. When my daughter asked repeatedly if the development was on track, the nurse continually said, "we can't tell you anything" and never offered to direct us to anyone who could or would tell us anything. However, she had no problem saying they couldn't find a heartbeat, which seems to be the one thing NOT to say. What she failed to mention is that a heartbeat is not necessarily going to be heard at this… time. She never reassured my daughter or let her know that each pregnancy is unique. Apparently there was enough time allotted to terrify her, but not to provide any helpful information. To show so little concern for a person who is frightened and unsure is not just negligent, it is cruel. And to add insult to injury, as we left, the nurse said, "if you have any questions, don't hesitate to call" despite having straight out refused to answer our questions face to face! These people have made what should be a joyful time a miserable one instead, and my daughter will never have this precious time back to be excited. She will look back with only negative feelings thanks to the horrible staff at this facility. They should be ashamed of how little concern they showed for her and for how far they have moved from the goal of entering the health care field in the first place: to provide care.
