Excellent, caring doctor. Dr. Visco listens carefully and responds accordingly.

TL; DR: Unrespectable and dishonest doctor, with terrible hospital system. I would give a 0 star if I could. I went to visit Dr. Visco on 9/16 by a referral, ending up waiting for 1.5 hours and still didn't get to see the doctor because of his schedule delay. While I was waiting, there was another junior doctor coming in asking for my medical history and etc. However, due to a meeting conflict, I talked to a nurse in his office and let her know that I had to leave. One week later, I received a notification from my insurance company, stating that the doctor office submitted a claim for my visit. I contacted the hospital, giving a full download of the visit to explain that I didn't get to see the doctor, and was told that based on the doctor's note, "I met and discussed with Dr. Visco" about my situation, so they couldn't do anything. I was shocked and angry because it was completely not true. I then contacted the doctor office directly, only to find out that the reason of the claim… is that I "did see a doctor," the junior one that asked for my medical history. But given the fact that I saw a doctor, I had to pay, even though my appointment was with Dr. Visco and I didn't get to see him. This is by far the most absurd reason I have ever heard in my doctor-visiting experience. It's like you go into a restaurant, sit down, and leave without getting any food/drink, but you have to pay?! And the most ridiculous thing is that they even stated in my visit summary that I "met and discussed with Dr. Visco," which is completely a make-up story. At this point, I am super frustrated and don't feel respectful at all. If you're planning the visit to Dr. Visco, I strongly recommend saving yourself some time and finding a doctor who actually cares, respects and paying attention to their patients.

Dr Visco gave my son the most thorough exam I have ever seen. He is extremely knowledgeable, caring and really seems to enjoy what he does. It was great to finally see a doctor who knows what he is doing!

Dr. Visco's careful attention to detail sets him apart for other doctors in the field. I always felt I could be candid with him and I always felt I was receiving the best care for me. He is also very accessible when I have questions or concerns, which is refreshing.

I am a very active person who exercises a lot and, as a result, I've had my fair share of physical injuries. I have been consulting with Dr. Visco for years, totally bypassing the orthopedics clinic, because Dr. Visco combines an unflappable ability to diagnose correctly coupled with an outstanding bedside manner. His physical exam is comprehensive which is why he is such an excellent teacher to medical students and his skillful approach allows him to zero in on the problem so that we can expedite a treatment plan. I really can't recommend Dr. Visco too strongly. If you have physical pain or deficits, he'll figure out what it is and get you the correct treatment in a very kind and encouraging way.

my thoughts are positive...i got to dr V 's office with severe pain and i am not the type of patient that easily takes pills... dr V observed and checked the situation carefully ...he also remembered my fear of taking pills, spoke softly but seriously about the need to take action and helped me see the need to follow through with some meds would not be harmful if taken correctly as he prescribed... i feel confident to share that dr V is very well updated with technology and we are lucky to have him around !

Dr. Visco belongs to a fast-disappearing breed in the age of corporate medicine: an exceedingly thorough clinician who is dedicated to his patients and students. He does a superb physical exam, picking up details that many practitioners would miss. He listens attentively and speaks courteously. And if he's unsure about something (e.g., whether the pain is caused by Condition A or Condition B or both) he says so candidly. (One of my workout buddies called me a liar for claiming to have a doctor who admits to uncertainty, but I wasn't lyin'.) In sum, a fine doctor and a real mensch. The only downside of the practice is the long wait for a first appointment. Of course, that's because many people appreciate Visco's excellent care.

Very caring doctor. I am so glad I found him. After experiencing months of foot pain, and visiting 2 other doctors to try to find relief, I saw Dr. Visco. He took time to examine my foot with amazing thoroughness, to discuss the previous treatments I'd tried, to observe my walking gait and standing position, etc. He really seems to love his work, and he is the type of doctor who will spend as long as it takes to reach an accurate diagnosis of a patient's problem It was a huge a relief to be in such good hands. He diagnosed my problem correctly (unlike the previous 2 doctors) & outlined various treatment options. As a result I was able to get appropriate treatment & physical therapy that finally brought me relief from the pain. My only complaint about my experience with this doctor is that he was slow to call with test results (MRI, etc.). 2 weeks after getting an MRI, he still hadn't called with results. I had to be the one to call his office and keep on top of that. Also, I… had to wait a while for an initial appointment. I guess this is because he is an in-demand doctor. These are minor quibbles, though. I would--and have--recommended him to friends with injuries.

Dr. Visco and his staff are genuine and sincere about eliminating your pain. They are by far, the most caring perople that I have ever come across in the medical field.
