Dr. Christopher Murl Walz, MD

Drove three hours to come to see him, got to the office and he was "out." No call to cancel, nothing.

Could barely talk. Dr. Walz 2 busy to see me and gave me to PA who said it was GERD and gave me some Prilosec told me to come back in a month. 2 weeks I went back again same thing. I insisted on seeing Dr Walz who gave a correct diagnosis of paralyzed vocal chord. (voice 8 months down) Told me to come back in couple weeks to see if healing. Sent me to voice therapist who told me they couldn't help me. I did but it wasn't and he said he could give me a list of doctors to go see who could work on my voice!! I thought that was why I was seeing him. Dr. Walz is very nice but disappointing. Don't go here go to San Diego where you will get proper care if you have something like this.

Dr Walz treated me on several occasions over the past three years. During each visit his pleasant demeanor made me feel as though I'd been a long time regular patient of his. Dr Walz took his time interviewing me, examining me and explaining his diagnosis while pointing out my condition on a scanned image. He very patiently explained the options for treating my condition and suggested a path to follow. I feel confident in following Dr Walz's suggestion.

No one greeted me when I came in. Nurse said, "Just follow me." Dr. Walz came in, did did greet me. Sat down, looked at my chart, picked his nose with his thrumb nail, cleaned that with his index, flicked it on the floor. During this delightful time he never called me by name, or looked at me. Thank God, when he examined my mouth and throat, he put on gloves! What an excuse for a doctor! Incrediable.

Dr. Walz will do everything he can to find a cause and a solution. He never gives up; he asks questions, does research, explores options and sincerely wants to make his patients well. He's the best.

Iâ??ve been Dr. Walzâ??s patient for a handful of years. He is consistently a very kind and patient doctor who is thorough and when necessary he thinks outside of the box to do all he can to help his patients. While being Dr. Walzâ??s patient, Iâ??ve had temporary and semi-permanent tubes put in my ears by Dr. Walz. Both procedures have gone really well. I suffer from a rare condition called, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). He and his staff during office visits and the staff at the Rancho Mirage Surgery Center during both procedures made sure to do all they could to keep from aggravating my CRPS. During all the office visits and on the days of my procedures, Dr. Walz has always acted as if I was his only patient, he answered all of my questions no matter how long it took. I have had such faith in and liked Dr. Walz as a practitioner, I even had him help my daughter who was tongue-tied. He made her feel comfortable before snipping part of her tongue. I highly recommend… Dr. Walz and the Rancho Mirage Surgery Center.

Came in with a ten month cough.. He and staff were perfect.. Will recommend Dr. Walz to others and return should the need arise... Thank you for putting me at ease...

He is on time and i think he is a very good doctor BUT I wont be going back i am sorry to say. His staff is incomptent,arrogance, rude , non caring . They are so nasty I dont want to have that experience again.

He is by far "THEE" most incredible doctor. He is easy to work with, not over dramatic about a situation and extremely very thorough. He did my Thyroid surgery and was amazing. I totally recommend him to anyone and everyone.
