Dr. Christopher B Wiegand, MD

Christopher Wiegand ruined my life. I came looking for ECT out of desperation. Eager to make a buck I'm sure, Wiegand thought I would be a great candidate despite the advice of my team. The therapy went alright at first, until one day, the anesthesia didn't work. I begged them to stop before they sedated me against my will. When I confronted Wiegand days later, his response was that "I shouldn't have remembered that". Well guess what doc, that experience has haunted my nightmares every night, and has resulted in a PTSD diagnosis. You are not only a bad doctor, but a miserable human being.

I've been treated by four psychiatrists in Tucson over the past twelve years. Dr. Wiegand is absolutely the best! He spends more time with me and all his patients than any psychiatrist that I ever had. I have been seeing him for over three years now. He was the psychiatrist that finally gave me an accurate diagnosis. I never wait more than five minutes; he really listens and talks directly to me. He is also the most compassionate psychiatrist I ever had. Dr. Wiegand is awesome!!

I have been a patient of Dr Wiegand's for eight years, at which time I was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder. He was in touch with my family during my first (and only) manic episode. He was most helpful in reassuring them that my medication would work, we just had to be patient. He was right. I went from manic to extreme depression and took about three months to have my meds take effect. I have been symptom free and living a fulfilling life for eight years and am so thankful to Dr Wiegand for giving me my life back. I was fifty-nine when I had my first bi-polar episode, which was very fortunately for me. My mom suffered with it for many years. I can't say enough good things about him. All I can say is thank you. Don't ever stop taking your meds thinking you are fine now. That's the secret to staying well. Without my meds I would not be well.
