Dr. Chun-Ho Patrick Ng, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Ng since he came to Currituck Internal Medicine. I was overweight and hypertensive even with drugs. I had gout destroying my joints. I did not know I was a Type 2 diabetic until Dr. Ng told me. I've been in pain for years. Other doctors just tried different medications and told me to lose weight but never addressed the cause of my problems. Dr. Ng actually went over my health record and labs with me. He listens to his patients and he comes up with the right diagnosis and solutions. I've lost fifty pounds without effort, my blood pressure is normal, my sugar is normal, my pain is under control. My mobility and health is the best it's been in a long time. He's integrative in his approach to treating his patients. After finally being treated by a doctor who is knowledgeable, personable, who gets things right the first time, it's a real shame the corporation who owns Currituck Internal could not appreciate the asset they had in Dr. Ng. Thank you for… all you've done for me.

I would like to Thank this fine doctor for taking the time to hear my concerns about my medical issues. I have never had such a personal touch like I received today. The office staff is excellet. Dr.Patrick takes time with you explains everything makes informed suggestions to help you. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for n excellent doctor you can tell he really does care about his patients . Thankyou from the bottom of my heart.

He is caring and one who will take the time to listen and get to know you as an individual. Does not rush through the visit. Will explain what your condition is in a way that you can understand. He will ask you if he has answered all of your questions and makes sure you understand how the medicine he has prescribed for you will help.

I recently had a visit to Dr.NG'S office ,was very impressed and pleased with his office staff along with DR.NG caring and listening ear to all my concerns and health issues.Very professional.and would recommend this DR. to all my family and friends.

What a great Doctor! He reminds me of back in the day when your Doctor was YOUR DOCTOR! Very personal and knowledgable about your specific needs.I have been going to him for years but my insurance had changed and forced me to start looking for an in network Doc. BUT having a hard time.Wish he was still in BCBS!!

Dr. Ng doesn't participate in my current plan but I keep checking! He is the only Dr. who actually LISTENS and always seems to have a suggestion for help such as a dietary change or supplement. He does not simply push the latest Rx drug. The last time I saw him, he took time to discuss w/ me my mother's alzheimer treatment plan: So kind! Miss you, Dr. Ng.

I would not know where I would be without Dr. Ng. I would love to have him as my doctor but can't due to insurance. He is a very caring doctor and I believe he is one of a kind.
