Dr. Chunmei Cui, MD

Horrible doctor. My dad almost died. My dad had a referral to ohsu neurology for a mysterious illness that had been ruining his quality of life for 4-5 months prior. We gave her every detail of information, including timeline and symptoms. She did what looked like a thorough examination, then told my dad he had a rheumatology issue not neurological and he should see the eye doctor for his double vision. We expressed concern that we suspected it’s Myasthenia Gravis or similar and she quickly shut the door on that suspicion. Fast forward 2-3 weeks and my dad ended up in the ER because he could no longer eat or drink water. A week later the blood tests came back positive for Myasthenia Gravis, a neurological disorder.

Dr. Cui was probably the worst doctor I've ever met or seen in my life, this includes Joey on Friends. She had no idea what she was talking about, and does not listen to the patient. She is a neurologist but had no idea what abortive medicine was for migraines, which is a huge part of the treatment. She insisted she wasn't a psychologist, but told me I had a "mood disorder", couldn't answer which one since she is a psychologist, and kept saying, "no personal offense. I'm a doctor. I have to say this.". It was just about the most upsetting and horrific appointment ever. Please do not go there, you will only be misdiagnosed and treated poorly.

This doctor is horrendous! I have been in pain for over a month and all she could put in her notes is anxiety! I gave her my symptoms which is constantly kept repeating! Will never go to her! Steer clear!!!
