Dr. Cindy Wei-Yi Tung, MD

Dr. Tung is a thorough and caring physician who NEVER rushes you out the door! When it is your turn to be seen she ALWAYS gives you her FULL Attention. As a physician, she is also on the mark with her diagnosis and medical care. I have and will continue to recommend her to all my friends and colleagues, if they are looking and/or need an excellent pediatrician. I don't take her talents and her heart for my children for granted!! We LOVE you Dr. TUNG!!!

I agree with the reviewer who said the 3 doctors at this practice are so different. For my family and a host of my other friends, we prefferred Dr Tung. My family moved out of state and we have not found a doctor for our children who in our opinion matches up to Dr Tung. She was our daughter's doctor from when she was born to when she was 3 and a half years when we moved. Dr Tung is very patient, caring, listens and addresses all your concerns and questions. She gives practical advice on general baby/child care too. She fully explains her examination results and your child's developmental achievements against generally expected milestones, taking into account any unique considerations for your child. Children warm up to her easily and she is very gentle with them. My OB also recommended Dr Tung to me as she takes her children to Dr Tung too. Her inside voice volume is a little higher than many, but that did not bother me as it did not take away from her being a great doctor, and that… is what my family wanted and miss.

Had my daugter at 32 weeks, and Dr. Tung was spot on with advising me on my care for my first born daughter. Can't say enough nice things about her.

Dr. Tung is by far the most knowledgable pediatrician, and perhaps the most knowlegdable doctor, I have ever known, period. I have been seeing her (and the other doctors in the practice) for years now. I have 4 kids, by the way. Her "bedside" manner is just fine. I do not, for the life of me, know what these folks are talking about when they say she is either loud or critical. She is neither. Just a great doctor--always right on the money.

I have been coming to this practice for 8 years. I got the referral from my OB who brings her children to this practice. Nothing could possibly say more about a Dr than the fact that other Doctors trust them with their own children? Yes, Dr. Tung speaks loudly and that annoyed me at first but she is the most patient physician in the office. She will spend as much time as needed with you to go into detailed explanations, answer questions or address concerns. ALL of the Dr's are GREAT and will still answer concerns and questions but Cindy Tung, in my 8 years at this practice with 4 kids, seems to be the most detailed, cautious and generous with her time. Baydar is a very old school Dr. and is pretty nonchalant. Tung is more cautious. If there is the possibility of a problem Baydar has more of a wait and see attitude (which in the beginning I liked better) while Tung will say lets get it checked just in case. Dr Davidson is somewhere in the middle. No matter what you are looking for in a… Dr. you will find it in this practice. They all compliment each other and I would trust my children with any of them. They DO NOT have toys everywhere which I LOVE! Letting your child play with toys in a Dr's office is like letting them play with a strangers dirty tissues. They have a SEPARATE sick waiting room which I love as well. Who wants to bring their kids in for a well visit and have them come home with a cold. Most of the office staff is great. There is one older woman who is nasty and lazy as can be. She is my ONLY complaint about their office. If you are thinking about joining this practice I suggest scheduling an interview with each of them. Because all of the Dr's are so different you will need to find out which one fits you best. There are three pediatricians in that office. She would be my last choice. She likes to criticize your parenting skill rather than helping you. Also, she talks so loud I almost felt like she is yelling at me. Overall, she is not a very pleasant doctor to talk to.
