Dr. Ciprian Raoul Spenser, MD

The absolute worst psychiatrist I’ve ever met! Very rude with a big ego- he put me on so much medication that was unnecessary. Thank heavens another psychiatrist helped me to get of the unnecessary meds. Dr Spenser is full of himself. Do yourself a favor and stay away!

Not just at work ;-)

I experienced Dr. Spenser at Stony Brook Hospital. He was so abrasive, insensitive, and rude, I was shocked that he was a mental health care professional at all, let alone the director of CPEP at the hospital. He's arrogant and does not seem to care at all about the mental welfare of his patients. It doesn't get much worse than Dr. Spenser

He is a terrible, evil, sick, sick man. He threatens to confine me to his institution and if I refuse he said he wanted to throw me on the streets! He is VERY nasty and unprofessional. I DO NOT recommend him at all. AVOID this doctor at all costs!
