Dr. Claire Sanger Dillingham is fantastic! She knows exactly how to leave her patients looking "natural". If you didn't see me before my facial surgery, you wouldn't think I had anything done. She also performed reconstruction on my best friend after her breast cancer. She looks amazing. Not only is this doctor skilled surgically, she is patient and takes the time to explain things thoroughly.

I , unfortunately, chose Dr. Claire Sanger Dillingham for my reconstructive surgery after a left breast mastectomy and a reduction on the right side. I am disheartened to say that she messed me up. The expander she put n my left side was too small that she could not add any more fillings to it. As she was aware of this, she went ahead with the implant surgery plus the reduction of my right breast. Well, she did not reduce my right breast enough to make it symmetrical with the right one. Also, 15 minutes before we went to the surgery room she told me that I will need another surgery to make them symmetrical. I told her in her office that had she told me about this surgery, I would not have gone through with reconstructive nightmare. She lied that she had told me and started insulting and degrading me with unkind and mean words. Her behavior added more salt to my injury as I had cried a lot in her office due to severely messing up my right normal healthy breast which turned into… a huge swell with blisters, bleeding, and a horrible pain. She had to inject it to withdraw a lot of liquid. Almost 2 months after this surgery, I am still swollen, sore, and very uncomfortable. My implant feels like a box and they told me that I will never be the same size. My right breast is twice as big as my left and they just left me at this stage unless I agree to the third surgery which is removing a flap from my belly and plant it on the implant. I refused because I do not trust her, she lied to me, and she might mess my belly this time. Please have an extensive search before you choose a doctor.

We have seen three doctors at uk since she moved to n Carolina . None are half as caring or half as good she was. We now drive to Greensboro to see her. Why can't uk keep great doctors??

fantastic doctor. We drove from Ky. to see her because her reputation was so good in Lexington. She operated on our son and the results are fantastic/ office is packed so expect to wail a little

extraordinary surgeon we were devestated when we found out she had left the university. we were very unhappy with the doctor who replaced her so we now drive to North Carolina to see her. worth the trip!! Its a shame that Uk cant keep doctors like her.

I was so amazed with Dr. Sanger, she spent so much time with my son and also prayed with my family and preacher before the surgery which really meant alot to me as a mother. She cares and she shows it. We never felt like just a patient with her. She did excellent work as a surgeon with my son, he is perfect in my eyes but all of his friends and family and even himself are just stunned with her results. He never thought he would look the same after his accident 3 yrs ago. But she has done more than just made him look better, she has restored his confidence, his faith, and it really feels like I have my son back. I am so thankful I met her.
