Claire was so unprofessional! She lied to my mother about what the Hospice House offered. Claiming my mom could get a will completed at the Hospice house along with same treatment she was getting in the actual hospital. One hour being at the Hospice house and we realized she lied to get my mother to agree on accepting Hospice care. We revoked Hospice immediately and went to administration and complained. They immediately pulled her off my moms case and we never seen her again. She was very negative and wouldn't allow my mother to have high hopes. We had to ask her to stop mentioning dying due to the anxiety and depression is was causing my mother. She said my mother couldn't have a lung transplant that they "wouldn't want to waste a lung" as if my mother's life was less valuable than anyone else. Everyone should be equal. I get good or bad candidates, but to claim She would be a waste was just a horrible word choice. When asking to transfer my mother to another facility Claire also… lied about them accepting her. Claimed they didnt have any beds and couldn't provide any different care. The other facility Claimed yes she called and asked questions but never once put in a bed request even though it was my mother's wishes to get care elsewhere. Not to mention my mom lived in Port Republic and Augusta Death I mean "Health" was a 40 min drive for her family vs. Six minutes. I will forever believe that if it wasn't for Claire taking over my mother's care that she would still be living today. I wouldn't even put my worst enemy's life in her hands.
