Dr. Clara Lee Parks, DO

Dr Parks tells me one thing during a visit and the next visit she says something different in my diagnosis. I am hurthing really bad. I need a doctor that cares about me as a patient.

Dr. Parks is wonderful

Dr Parks spends not minutes, but an HOUR or more with her patients if they need it. She was the first to ever test me for B12 deficiency (the lack of which is one reason why I developed neuropathy) and took immediate measures to stop further progression. I have DDD, fibro, slipped rib syndrome, and SFPN, just to name a few, and I know pain. But after being brought to her office in a wheelchair (pain so bad unable to walk or even get out of chair unassisted) and receiving Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT), I was able to walk out of her office under my own steam. Dr Parks understands my intolerance to the chemicals in most prescription meds and helped me find alternative ways to deal with pain. Her bedside manner may at times seem a bit insensitive to some, but I don't believe she sets out to cause hurt feelings. Some doctors just aren't natural coddlers nor as diplomatic as others, but her OMT techniques far outweigh whatever may be lacking in that area - so much so that word is… getting out and it's getting harder to get an appointment now. The OMT is all I see her for.

This doctor is a terrible person. She is heartless and cruel. I happen to also know a few people that went to her and they are now saying the same thing. I thought I could trust her with my health and my pain. (I have an injured back and neck from a car accident, PCOS, Fibromyalgia, etc) She accused me of being a drug seeker and said most of my problems are because I'm overweight. I can't even express the emotional impact her rude and cruel comments were that day but I know I will never go back. It's hard when you finally trust someone with your health and think they are going to do the right thing by being compassionate, understanding, and thorough and they let you down. She has also done similar things to other patients.
