Dr. Clark Lindsay Jennings, MD

I trust Dr. Jennings with my mental health care. He is smart and seems to really try to help me.

I came into his office wanting to get taken off some medications immediately that had terrible side effects, but to keep me from regressing and going back into the hospital he encouraged me to stay on a program to integrate new medications and tapper off my old meds. He successfully has helped me stay out of the hospital and find medications that fit my psychological needs. Staff is also very friendly.

I am not usually one to complain, but this guy made me lose hope in doctors. I actually never even got to have my appointment with him. I waited 2 months for my appointment. The receptionist (Loretta) told me the incorrect date at first, and then called to confirm a week ahead of the appointment with a different date and time. She struck me as eccentric when I first spoke to her. She had to call me back immediately after the first time we spoke to correct a communication mistake she made. Let me say, I am extremely diligent, honest, punctual, and responsible. I showed up to my appointment early for paperwork, waited an hour (30 mins past my appointment), and finally the receptionist returned and asked me if I had an appointment. I told her it was supposed to be half an hour ago. She then said I was late for my appointment which was â??2 hours agoâ??. I was blamed for the entire miscommunication on her part. She was unapologetic and told me the soonest I could get in would be in 2… months. I politely left, extremely hurt and upset. My husband returned that day to speak to the doctor, explain the situation, and kindly ask if Dr. Jennings could see me sooner. After being treated rudely by Loretta, Dr. Jennings came to speak to him. The doctor said something along the lines of â??Anyone who doesnâ??t show up to their appointments on timeâ?¦too bad, they must not have needed the help anyway.â?? He denied that his receptionist made any mistake, asked for proof, and was completely arrogant and rude to my husband (who is a very peaceful kind person). I waisted two months waiting to see this guy, but I am happy I did not see someone with such a lack of sympathy, kindness, and professionalism. I have never had such poor customer service in my life.
