Dr. Claude Donald Belgrave, MD

Never been there before today called got a same day appointment. Dr. Belgrave and his staff were professional and fast. I had called all over because my contacts were itching and I had waited to long to refill so I needed a prescription. I was seen right away a even walked out wearing a new pair. I will definitely return next time I need a prescription.

Very professional and I save a lot of money on my eye exams

I was so proud to have a Harvard medical school graduate as my doctor. He was very open and honest, told me how to save money, and his exam fees were less than all the other doctors. There was another patient there, who didn't have all the money for the exam, and he still saw her anyway. He said she really needed to be seen, and that he wasn't going to let someone suffer just because they didn't have all the money. It was so refreshing to see a doctor who cared about people over money

dr. belgrave is very upfront with his diagnosis. he is straightforward with his patients and will tell you exactly what needs to be done in a very matter of fact way. many have a problem with his sharp tongue; however, noone can beat his ability to do his job. while his office staff leave a lot to be desired as they are young kids who appear to be there for the summer as opposed to for a career, his patient care is top notch. advice to the doc: hire new staff and your practice may just pick up!

Dr. Belgrave was very unprofessional, not necessarily with me, but with his assistant. They both engaged in inappropriate conversation that just shouldn't have been shared in front of customers. Dr. Belgrave rushed through my vision exam, and upon receiving my glasses purchased with his prescription, I noticed that my prescription was incorrect! I could not see a thing! Not only did I waste my money in visiting his office, I had to reschedule and pay more money to get another eye exam--fortunately, this time with a professional doctor of optometry! I also thought it was a bit suspicious that he accepts cash only--he also made me pay $35 more than what my insurance copay was. My suggestion to anyone--take your business elsewhere. It will save you time AND money.
