Dr. Claudia Maria Giovanelli Porrata, MD

Went to try to loose weight. She went and changed all my medications which put me in the hospital with heart attack symptoms. Have spent thousands for Tests and medications. She wants to change your diet to gluten free but endorses a bariatric surgeon that says its foolish. I wish I had never went to her and loose weight a normal way.

Dr. Porrata and her staff are as good as it gets. She REALLY cares about her patients and spends a lot of time getting to the bottom of problems. I would highly recommend her!

She is an excellent doctor. Really cares about your over health and cares for your problems in a natural manner instead of prescribing the next new pill. The natural way is sometimes slower then jumping on a drug but it feels good to treat yourself naturally knowing you are not relying on a prescription. If you end up on a prescription, it usually is a natural one. She spends as much time with you that is needed and doesn't rush you out the door like other dr's I have been to. She really makes you feel like she cares. This tends to lead to a slight wait for your appointment as she takes the same care with others. Only complaint is sometimes it is hard to get in touch with anyone when you call but that is because they only have one staff member that runs the entire office. She is nice and an excellent multitasker. She tries her best to take care of everything but she is only one person and I really think there should be at least two people working the front office to avoid any… delays. Even though the dr and staff are great people if there is not enough staff completing the work in the front office it has the potential to reflect on the entire office but still enjoy this place.
