Dr. Claudia Liane Hargrove, MD

Dr. Hargrove saved my life! Without the early diagnostic testing she recommended while I was "healthy" I would have never uncovered the cardio issues I have. I see her as my "quarterback" and she helps me manage my other doctors. Her staff is friendly and responsive and I am always in and out quickly. I highly recommend her.

On two separate occasions she (once) and her partner, Dr. Growney (once) did not return my calls. The first time was when I had questions about bloodwork and the second was to the on call doctor when I had a medical emergency needing advice as I was out of state. Completely unprofessional.

Needed a new primary care doctor after my last one retired. I have been repeatedly disappointed by the care of Dr. Hargrove and her office staff. My spouse and I see separate doctors in the same practice and notice "discrepancies" in how they bill. Secondly, never responds to patients. Was told to come in to get a test result. When arrived was informed the "result was unclear by the handwriting but I'll call you by next Friday when I get clarification" (by the way costing me a copay for no information). The following Friday came and went, no call. Following week called Tues, Thurs, and Fri to ask to speak with her. Nothing for another week. Not my first poor experience with this practitioner but it will be my last.

Dr. Hargrove seems rushed and will tell you as the patient that she is only allowed about 10 or 15 minutes to review your problem and make a diagnosis. She seems unwilling to go the extra mile and do her research to find a possible solution. Often, she will just send you to the Emergency Room. The ER then often asks why Dr. Hargrove couldn't make a diagnosis? If it is something simple like a common cold, ok. If it is anything requiring serious attention without being rushed, find a more engaged and serious doctor.

I'm 25 and I wanted to establish a primary care physician so my OBGYN referred me to Dr. Claudia Hargrove and I loved her. She was so nice and as soon as she walked in the door I felt like I had known her forever. I felt comfortable telling her about my history and asking her questions that she thoroughly answered. I'm so glad I've found her and look forward to continuing my care with her.

I love Dr. Hargrove. Very attentive and timely. I would recommend to friends and family.

Horrible office staff...doctor refused patient care because patient did not want to pay $50 canceled app fee. App was missed due to all 3 of the patients kids having strep and husband traveling for work in another country.
