I visited another facility first and decided on Newton because of Dr. Perez-Tamayo. She is one the nicest doctors I've ever dealt with, whether as a patient or in my work life in medical records. My treatment is done and I'm feeling wonderful. During my 7 weeks of daily radiation, her staff made me feel like I was important and I was always treated like a part of their 'place'. Driving from Wichita to Newton was worth every nickel I spent on gas because of the way my treatment was handled and the way I was made to feel welcome. Let Dr. Perez-Tamayo help you beat cancer, too. Attitude is a big part of cancer treatment, IMHO.
