Dr. Claudio Bonometti, MD

I have had nothing but POSITIVE care from Dr Bonometti and I have been a patient of his care for as long as he has practiced in Santa Barbara. He has left no stone unturned in his helping me and the first person to even lead me into a weight control program that has worked for me. The Doctor may have medical skills... I am not qualified to speak to that. My experience was his ability to communicate with me as a patient was either bravado or non existent . The out patient Ablation procedure was $125k at Cottage and he claimed to be unaware of that, yet I got all the codes from his office. His office billed me faster than Doc Holiday pulls a gun. He wanted to perform another Cardioversion at a childrens eye care center and when that did not matriculate he wanted to perform another Cardio ablasion only weeks after the initial failure without waiting the standard 3 months for the heart to heal. No pre or post op communication at cottage the day of procedure.

There is no doubt that Dr. Bonometti is a skilled Practitioner. He has years of experience and great knowledge in his field. This being said - when my parent comes home after every visit feeling as though was treated not with simple respect, or some kindness - but with a dismissive, argumentative, sarcastic or condescending approach, I have a genuine issue with this man. I have been a nurse for 34 years and this sort of behavior is NEVER an acceptable practice. Your patient comes first. Perhaps, Sir, you shoud treat your patients - who look to you for help and guidance - with a modicum of kindness or at the very least, respect. On the "up" side - his office staff are very kind and friendly.

Dr. Bonometti does an excellent job with cryo-ablations. The staff is very friendly and professional.

I was diagnosed with both AFIB and flutter. At my first visit, Dr. B said he could cure the flutter, but at the time there was only medication to manage the AFIB. Several years later he had new equipment and a procedure to cure the AFIB also. He is very conservative in his approach, and performed several procedures on me. I never had any side effects or problems, and my heart has been in rhythm now for 2 years with no relapses. I would recommend Dr. B. to anyone. Plus, he is a very friendly nice guy.

Claudio Bonometti provided me with the absolute utmost in professional care from the day I met him almost three years ago. He solved my Atrial Fibrillation problem and I am now healthy as ever!! The BEST CARE!!!
