As a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) since 1984 I have been able to educate many PT’s, GYNO/OB’s, Ortho’s, Neuro’s CMW’s and PCP’s on the specific and distinct role that DCs provide. I think even you would agree DCs provide that which other health care professionals do not. Since 1895 we are often referred to as the “doctors of last resort.” Only because what the medical community offered didn’t work with all the therapies, treatments, pills, shots, lotions and potions people still suffered. Then as a last resort, they were able to find a DC that helped them and many w/o insurance! And if you review your research as far back as the 70’s the AMA was shown to be against chiropractic care for simply losing income to the medical community and nothing to do with chiropractic not being an effective means of health care. Oh did I mention my own MD has been a regular patient even after symptoms resolved and he could walk and work w/o pain so I guess you would call it “wellness or proactive”… care. Keep trying, I’m sure you can a few to believe you. So sad you live in the 1800’s.
