Dr. Canepa preformed my tummy tuck and breast lift in 2015. I just want to say from start to finish he was right there in my pre-op and post-op care. I recommend Dr. Canepa for anyone thinking of plastic surgery. Never felt or looked better in my entire life. Thanks Dr. Canepa your the best

After living is San Diego and Beverly Hills, I had seen a lot of plastic surgery, but had never had it done it by age 63. Moving home to Portland, I needed to do something about my drooping eyes. I was referred to Dr. Canepa from an OR nurse at Providence who has seen his excellent plastic surgery results over the years. I liked him immediately and there was a painting of a horse in his office that he had done... and I knew if he was that fine of an artist, I was already in good hands! He looks at a face as it will look as it ages, and thinks ahead. Even though the results were noticed by all of my friends, nobody ever suggested I had plastic surgery. Comments instead were things like, You look so great! You don't look so tired! Have you changed your diet? Started exercising? New man in your life? etc.etc. I just smiled and thought...Thank you Dr. Canepa! PS. He and staff continued to follow my healing and I appreciated that. It was quicker than I had thought! It was an… excellent experience, and he gave those plastic surgeons in Southern California a run for their money! And speaking of which, his prices were much better and so was his results!

He fixed my face after MOHS PROCEDURE for basal cell cancer. He did a great job!

I ruptured the ulnar collateral ligament in my right thumb (my dominant hand) that required surgery. While in San Francisco, I got a call from Dr. Canepa's office to say that he could squeeze me into his schedule in 2 days. I rushed back to Portland and showed up at the agreed time. Somehow, the appt had not made it onto his schedule and I was ready to reschedule. However, his staff (not knowing I had come such a long way for the appt) asked Dr. Canepa if he would see me and he said yes. Right then I knew he was special. My immediate impression of him was an intelligent, kind man. In fact, he instilled such confidence in me regarding the surgery that I went into it with absolutely no anxiety at all. The surgery went extremely well as did the recovery. Most people can't believe I had surgery because the scar is all but invisible. Dr. Canepa is a modest man, but I think his skill is exceptional. A thoroughly wonderful person, I would highly recommend him to anyone needing hand… surgery.

Dr. Canepa has operated on my wife's left hand for carpal tunnel and her face for skin cancer and in my judgment the results were the better than any other surgeon could have produced. The work on her face were almost magic as there was no scaring and no distortion of her features. My wife had the the same operation on the right hand by another surgeon and the difference is hard to believe. Dr Canepa's work healed very very quicky and she has no pain in that hand while she still has pain and difficulty in the hand operated on by the other surgeon.Dr Canepa operated on my daughter for breast cancer and again no one could have done a better job.
