Clint Kelley Anderson, MD

Dr. Anderson is one of the two doctors I see at Family Medical. I've seen some unfavorable reviews regarding him that I disagree with. He's also my wife's PCP, and she loves him. I have seen him on multiple occasions and he's always very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I have comorbid health concerns do a lot of homework to stay on top of my own health care needs. This is something everyone should do for themselves. Doctors have extensive training and often make the best judgement to treat patients based off of the information you provide them. Knowing your own health care needs and concerns go a long way in helping doctors help us. Everyone has a responsibility to educate themselves on their own health care; which includes understanding your medication, how and when to take it, as well as potential side effects. Reading to understand your diagnosis' and things that affect your condition. Doing your own home work to find if the diagnosis fits what you are experiencing and… searching for diagnosis that better fit what you are feeling to discuss with your doctor. Ever time I walk into my doctors office, I'm prepared with what was discussed at our last appointment, and the plan of care (WE) decided on. I'm prepared to discuss what has or hasn't worked. I'm prepared to discuss information I've learned and if I've found something that I feel better describes what I'm experiencing in my body. I don't walk into the office expecting the doctor to have all the answers about me in the 15 minutes he and I spend together. He's my doctor but I'm the professional of knowing my body, as I'm with myself 24/7. I walk into the office with the knowledge I need to meet with my PCP, who is there to help me understand and treat my condition in a partnership.

I hope that this review is seen my many. Dr Clint Anderson is just terrible! While I was treated by him, I almost lost my life multi-times. I wish there was a minus minus rating on this website! I’m still suffer from pain. I will suffer for the rest of my life. All because of a very minor Medical issue that I had.
