Dr. Clinton Conant Jones, MD

I had gone in to see a doctor because I was having stomach pain and overall feeling unwell. They had me see Dr. Jones. He walks in, looks at me and says "I already have a diagnosis, if you like to hear."(he even got my permission to tape record his "diagnosis"). Shocked, I replied "okay." He says, "stop eating all the McDonald's. Cut out soda, start exercising and you will find that all these problems will magically disappear." He didn't even do so much as check my ears! Nothing! I'm 5ft 2, and weighed 145 lbs at the time. I wasn't morbidly obese, and what he didn't care to learn is that I hadn't drank soda in 9 years! Fast food I hadn't eaten in two years. I also had a membership at the gym over at the Good Samaritan Hospital that I would spend 1-2 hours per day working out. After moving to North Carolina, I found an amazing doctor who did her job and discovered I have a gluten sensitivity. I had also been diagnosed with hashimotos hypothyroidism. It has been 12 years since that… visit with Dr. Jones and it STILL affects me! An experience I will never forget! I pray for anyone who gets stuck seeing him.

Misdiagnosed our pre-school age son and admitted him to hospital on Christmas Eve a few years ago. Told us he would have to be on breathing treatments for his asthma for the rest of his life. After a couple weeks we saw another physician who asked why we were told that - he just had an upper respiratory infection - not asthma. There was no need for him to be admitted to the hospital. Nice Christmas . . . Thanks so much Dr. Jones!
