Dr. Clyde R Addison, MD

Dr Addison provides excellent care. He listens well, asks great questions to fully understands the root cause his patients concerns are. They are focused on ensuring they are addressing the root cause of your visit. Understanding the root cause is the key to resolving what is causing you pain, stress, etc Patient, kind, compassionate & advocates for you to have the best care possible. He provided excellent care.

The Good: Doctor Addison will take time once he is with a patient. The Bad: My wife and I are expecting our first child and we have waited on average 3 hours for each visit! Doctor Addison should not be accepting new patients and should be turning away current patients. Multicare needs to do a review and realize Doctor Addison has too many patients. Also, he doesn’t work Fridays so that only compounds the issue. Overall: Had we known that our wait times would be 3 hours every two weeks we would have never signed up with Dr. Addison. Nice guy, but runs way too far over to where you pretty much have to take a full day off of work for your appointment.

I've been Dr. Addison's patient for over 15 years. He is caring, understanding and reassuring. He goes the extra mile to figure out issues and solutions. He's very well connected with his colleagues and has always recommended equally talented doctors. Because of his great bedside manner and willingness to listen and explain what is happening, his appointments do to run behind schedule but he's well worth the wait.

Dr Addison has been late to every single appointment I had to end it with him for the last 5 years he is not 5 minutes late but an hour to two hours late every time his staff and nurses think that this is acceptable and its common. This is unprofessional especially that this the hospital and he has five stars he diagnosed me with things that he never told me about until I looked at my paperwork he's making up diagnoses and symptoms that I never even experienced. Yes he will spend time with you after you wait three hour wait so if your time is precious for you this is not the right doctor he will be late even if you're in labor if he even shows up. I am African American and he definitely pics of all the stereotypes that against us and he reinforces it

My family has been seeing Dr Addison for 10+ years. We all love him and even though we moved away, we still travel an hour just to see him. Great doctor.

Doctor Addison has been my primary care doctor for 15 years. He has always listened to my issues and provided me with the best care available. I would recommend Dr Addison to anyone looking for excellent patient care.

Dr A is our family Dr, about 12 of us, and we all LOVE,LOVE,LOVE him. He has helped us thru many struggles, my one great granddaughter is actually named after him. I would recommend him to anyone. Yes the wait time is sometimes long and thats because he cares about all of hispatients and gives them the time he also gives to us, I'd wait no matter how long for him.

I came in for my first visit I was so depressed and downhearted feeling that I didn't want to really live any more. I've been to so many Dr's in my life time and no one had any answers as to what was wrong with me or what I was really going through. Dr. Addison with his expertise, knowledge and experience but most of all his compassionate heart for what he does for all his patients, knew just how and what to do for me, I felt I've been so truly blessed in life. God is truly awesome I thank you so very much Dr. C. Addison.

Dr. Addison is our favorite family medical physician. We entrust him with the health of our baby. He spends time talking with us about our concerns and answering all of our questions. He even skipped me in line for an unscheduled ultrasound that he had to do himself despite his lack of time and staff at the time. He seems to actually care and he never tried to give our baby weird medications, he always suggested a 'solve at home' style of remedies for things like chest congestion. He is a great doctor and I am happy to have him. The big issue with having him as a doctor is the time. We always have to wait roughly 45 minutes after our appointment time and then often wait another 45 minutes after we get into the exam room. He is a great doctor, if you are willing to wait for him to be so giving to the patients who came before you as well.

While Dr. Addison is young he has so many of the qualities of the old country doctor. He knows his patients, their medical history, and is more than competent in diagnosing a problem. He is also able to feret out underlying issues and offers a solution.
