Dr. Clyde Hollis Climer, MD

This MD was beyond rude!!! He doesn't even need to be in practice!! His bedside manner was horrible, rude and outright offensive. I will never ever go back to him again and would recommend no one else does either.

I am fully disappointed with the irresponsible nature, They didnot even update latest address in the websites and they didn't even inform us that doctor has another case which needs his presence. after we drove for 50 miles and reached the hospital (at New location) by appointment time they have given the documents to fill which might take about 30 min (as per their communication). while filling the documents they came and said As doctor needs to go out can you postpone your appointment to another day, i said it will be very difficult to get the permission again and i need to come from far still they said they were helpless i should postpone my appointment, the treatment at the entrance itself is bad then i can imagine how should be the doctors treatment, I said Bye and came out and torned those filled documents. Initially when i called them to verify the address they said correct but later after reaching the address which they mentioned in the website, they said please come to… another address which takes us about 15 min to reach there, we should have finished those document work in 15 minutes. I dont prefer or recommend my friends & colleagues to this doctor.

If I were you I would RUN - and RUN fast away from this doctor (if you could call such a bumbler a doctor). He does more damage than good. Actually, he doesn't even deserve the 1 I rated him - but there is no option for a ZERO!

I experienced an ectopic pregnancy n 2004 around the holidays. At first, Dr. Climer's staff completely missed it. I was sent home told I... See More was having a miscarriage because they didn't see anything in my uterus. They did not order blood work to watch to see if my hormone levels dropped.I called back about a week later and told them that I still felt pregnant, they finally ordered bloodwork to be done: one then and one in three days. It was then they saw that my numbers weren't dropping.I was then told I have 2 options: laproscopic surgery or a chemo treatment to dissolve the fetus in my tube. I chose the chemo because Dr. Climer told me it would save my tube.First he send me to Altamonte hospital where I was admitted only to find out that there was no one there qualified to do the chemo treatment. So he sent me to Arnold Palmer, where I was given 2 shots of methotrexate and sent home. I had to report back to his office for a vitamin shot, and his staff tried to give me a… Depo-Provera shot. Seems they had pulled the wrong chart. They were also extremely rude and demanded I pay a co-pay even though I was there for a followup after hospitalization.Then he went out of town. When I called his office, for a followup no one knew anything about my case. Please note: You can DIE from an ectopic pregnancy. They sent me to some high-risk pregnancy clinic in Orlando that knew nothing about my case, where an ultrasound was done and it was shown that the chemo treatment didn't dissolve the fetus. I called Dr. Climer's office back, and they were perplexed as to what to do. So they sent me back to Arnold Palmer for another chemo shot.The next day, my tube ruptured and I lost 2 liters of blood internally and almost died.Turns out, that the chemo treatment should only be done when the pregnancy is less than 8 weeks. I was about 10 weeks. I found that in a simple Internet search after the fact. I trusted my doctor. That was a mistake.

There are not words to describe the actual horrorible nature of this doctor. As I sat on his table losing a 5 month pregnancy, he decided it was a good time to talk to be a gastric bipass. He told me my water had not broken, and refused to do a simple test for it. My baby ended up passing away. Also he refuses to test for a blood condition that could kill me because he didn't know anything about it. What worse is I am not the only who was seriously harmed by this practice, I was foolish and did not sue. I should have. This practice should be CLOSED and both doctors should retire.Giving him one star is FAR too generous.

When 5 members of our family aproached the delivery room, (number allowed under hospital policy), Dr. Climer explained that 2 depositions was the most he wished to deal with. The television that my wife requested be shut off, was muted. Dr. Climer split his time between viewing TV and attending to my wife and un\newborn son. My son's umbillical cord was clamped so closely to his skin that it caused problems later. My opinion is that he is not dedicated to a job as important as his is. I would recomend his services be declined

Too many insults to mention. My daughter is searching for another OB immeadiately. I have to warn anyone out there do not become a patient of this man. The office staff and the other Dr's on staff are very friendly and professional but this guy should retire today!!!

It is apparent that Dr Climer stopped caring about patients long ago. His bedside manner is non-existent. He asks medically irrelevant questions, insults his patient, and offers antiquated medical opinion rather then sound medical advice.I would not recommend Dr Climer to anyone.
