Dr. Cody Jackson Hartshorn, MD

Dr Hartshorn is okay I guess. Did knee surgery on my husband. However, we will never go back after always having to wait at least a half hour. After the last visit of waiting 50 mins (and that was just to see the PA!), we asked for a 9am-the first of the morning so he wouldn't have to wait. It still didn't make a difference! After waiting a minimum of a half hour, in walks the PA again! When he saw her last time, she told him she could not answer his questions bc she was not in the surgery. She said he would be seen by Dr Hartshorn at his next visit and would have everything explained. After telling her he wanted to see the doctor, he waited another 10-15 mins and then walked out. No one said a word and it has been almost a week and not even a phone call! No apologies or any concern from them. I definitely would not recommend him unless you have nothing else to fill your days but sitting in a medical office waiting on them to take care of you!

I fell years ago and crushed my knee to pieces and also had a spiral fracture from my knee to my angle. Dr. Hartshorn put it all back together again (like "Humpty Dumpty) but my outcome was much better. My physical therapist said he did an amazing job. I am able to walk without a limp and I have no pain in walking, but I do still have a piece of metal in my leg...no problem. He is conscientious and very talented.

Not thorough with patients

Dr hartshorn made a painful experience less frightening. He is very kind and caring and emphasizes he is there anytime you need him. My wrist is just fine with no problems.

I've had Dr. Hartshorn work on both of my shoulders these past two years and I must say that I made a great choice last year when I took my problems to him. He is very knowledgeable and he certainly has corrected my problems and taken care of the pain that I had for so long before the surgeries. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Hartshorn to others.

Dr Hartshorn listened to my concerns and has operated on me on two occasions. He is thorough and caring. He addressed my families concerns as well. I am quite pleased with him and his staff. I would recommend him highly.

Dr hartshorn refusef to listen to my complaints and refused to refill medicatin even though it was not a narcotic when I needef it for pain after therapy and I cannot take otc anti-inflamatories. I will be changing doctors to find one that will listen to my concens. I think he is more interesteyd in sports medicine and not other injury patients.

Very thorough. Fixed my shoulder problem that 2 other orthopedics couldn't fix.
