Terrible Doctor . He should have had his license taken away a long time ago. Do your research , don’t let him touch you.

Do not go to this so-called Doctor. He should not be able to touch anything living. He is an awful doctor and an awful person. I think he needs to be looked into, similar to Dr death.

Run run run ! Terrible doctor , terrible person, I cannot believe he is still able to operate people.

"Dr." Smith did my surgery in 2013 and I've been in pain ever since. Every time I complained about the pain he would give me more hydrocodone,at one point 300 at at a time. I would NEVER recommend him to anyone

I had surgery for lower back pain over a year ago. I actually cried after surgery because the pain was so intense. Follow up appointments didn’t go well. Each appointment I explained to dr smith the pain was still there and also asked what was done in surgery and never got a definite answer. I asked for a complete billing statement that I have never received. I can only stand for a few minutes before the pain gets to me and I have to sit.

This Surgeon was in my Opinion thee BEST Dr. I have ever had the brief Pleasure too know and be treated by. He performed several corrective surgeries on me in Midland, Tx and all came out better than I was expecting. I wish he was still my Doctor. He performed a Fusion on my spine that put me in good shape. Then during a colonoscopy that my primary physician requested, that bumbling idiot broke it and I am once again in constant pain. I wont let another Doctor at me too fix it cause now I'm afraid of them deliberately trying too paralyze me. Dr. Smith, you left so suddenly. I don't know, but assume, something bigger coercive forced you too leave. Thank you Doc. I wish I could see you again. Maybe you could fix me up again. But I also feel, the something bigger, somehow involved the State paid for Dr's and there past mis diagnosis of thee injuries of mine that you found and fixed. Your the best. Maybe thats why that Dr. of the colonoscopy broke what you fixed.

I could not ask for a better doctor than Dr. J Scott Smith. I had my first back surgery with him in 2012. Huge success. I did as he told me to during recovery and the outcome was perfect! When I needed a second back surgery I did not even hesitate going straight to Dr. Smith. Again, he was fantastic. His personality, his bed-side manner, his post-op care is tremendous. I could not ask for anything different. I'm not sure where all the negativity is coming from. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about Dr. Smith. If ever there is need for any type of surgery again that is his specialty, I will not hesitate to go straight to him. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. John McDonald Granbury, TX

Don’t go, had my last surgery in Grandbury with Smith. I told him if he could not trim my disk from the side, I did not want the surgery. I woke up in recovery with 4 cuts on my Back and what appeared to be 6 places that looked like I had been shot. I have been in unbearable pain every since.

Dr. Smith operated on my back several times, leaving me in even more pain than I started with. Botched the last surgery, left me with nerve damage, and chronic pain 24/7. PLEASE, DO NOT GO TO THIS SURGEON! Look at his record. Investigate before you go to him. Looking at above statistics, you have at best a 50/50 chance of a bad outcome.
