Dr. Cody Lyn Mihills, MD

My father and I were patients of Dr. Mihills. He was a great doctor. I have not been able to bring myself to make any follow up appointments with him because of a comment he made to my father who was suffering from terminal cancer. I brought my dad in for a fairly routine medication appointment. We were the last patients that day I believe. Dr Mihills came into the room we were in, waiting. He sat down on his stool and looked at my dad and said “Why are you still treating”. It felt like a dagger had just impaled my heart. I was crushed and I’m sure my father was. My father responded with “hope…for a cure”. I was dumbfounded at his comment and my heart hurt for my father so deeply that every time i’ve thought of making an appointment with him, I’ve decided not to, even though i’m way past needing refills, etc. I just cannot forgive him for being so callous and uncaring as a doctor. My father passed away, buy should never have had his hopes squashed by a doctor that was having a bad day.… It’s unforgivable at the very least.

It is hard to find a really great doctor, but Dr Mihills is one! He is a rare and extraordinary doctor who is thorough, knowledgeable, and pro-active. I have a complicated and unconventional health history and Dr. Mihills embraced the challenge of my case. I felt confident I was in the best care after my initial visit and am grateful he is my primary care physician.

Dr Mihills is patient, kind and very down to earth. I can tell that he is on top of the latest medical practices. I have been to many doctors In my life and I am so thankful that our family found him.

Dr Mihills is the best doctor that I have ever been to. It is obvious that he is caring and patient plus he is on top of the latest procedures & medications. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Mihills is the best. He takes his time with his patients, explains what is going on and what the best plan if action would be. I’ve seen many doctors over the years and he is great!

In today's world, a doctor sees dozens of patients in a day. Somehow, Dr. Mihills is able to get his job done and still find the time to relate to his patients. I hope that Dr. Mihills is able to find the time for himself, as there are those of us who need him for years to come...

I came for an annual physical, found out that i have diabetes and high cholesterol, doc gave me a medicine that i started taking , right after taking it the segond day felt heart pressure, dasiness, i felt hot i was checking, i called the office nurse didn't even ask me if i had food with it, if i measured my sugar level before taking it all what she said you should come. I asked if i have to pay again she said yes. I kust paid 4 days ago are you giving people medicine to make them sick so they have to come back to pay again? What is the follow up with people with a such sickmess and who teke a medicine for the first time ? Nothing The day after i went with my husband to the same doctor to modiffy his prescription, i took my medicine with lunch and had the same essues i asked the nurse to take at least my blood pressure, no way i needed to pay, if i was in a grosserie store and had the issue they could take my blood pressure for free but not when I'm at doctors Mihills office, what if… i had a strock? I could die and nobody will care...

Office and HCA staff are unprofessional! Practice is only concerned with billing and collecting rather than practicing medicine. Throughput is the goal - your needs are secondary (if that). Dr. Mihills referrals are terrible. We will be changing to another PCP in 2019 after 10+ years with Mihills - you should too!!!

Dr Mihills is a great PCP with a strong bedside manner and a pragmatic approach to preventative health care.
