My experience at Charlotte Dermatology could not have been better! Dr. Altman was on time and very personable. He excised a lesion with no pain to me. I was in and out in 30 minutes, as I was told.

Recently I had an annual and this doctor had me strip to my boxers and then with no notice or permission walked in with two other people..one a dermatologist in training. What? They did not inform me in anyway...just start poking and prodding my body and sticking me with needles. Which in any past visit they have not done...so this caught me off guard. The doctor talked openly about weird things and oily places...no bedside manner! And then tried to push referrals on me to go see his military buddies for other services.

I have been to seven dermatologists in the past six years. All have been extremely unhelpful. My experience with Dr. Altman and his staff was honestly the best I have ever encountered in the state of North Carolina. I will continue to see Dr. Altman permanently. Dr. Altman and his nurses truly care about their patients. Everyone is extraordinarily competent and on top of things. This website only allows four stars, but I give Dr. Altman five.

My teenage son and I have each seen Dr. Altman multiple times and continue to be impressed each time. He and his staff are always thorough and makes us feel as though we are his only patients that day.
