Dr. Colette Diane Lieber, MD

Took a week to call me back with a concern after leaving one message and speaking with a staff member twice. Staff said they would call back the same day, didn't happen. This is how they treat a patient of 30 years. Dr. missed the precancerous spot when she did cryo. Didn't care about the result on my face. Also, waited for 30 minutes in waiting room. Very disappointed.

I was given another cream to put on my rash and I am allergic to it it seems to be too strong I will go back to the other one my face and arms are all red!

My old dermatologist couldnt figure out my rash even after taking a biopsy and a culture. I tried Dr. Lieber and she instantly diagnosed what it was and prescribed a cream and said to apply for 3 weeks. To be honest, I was a little skeptical but I figured it was worth a shot. Lo and behold, 2 weeks it was completely gone! Now, if you're looking for a doctor to do a lot of shmooze and small talk, she may not be the one for you. She is very pleasant but she gets right to the point. She does have a pretty full waiting room and yes, I had to wait about 30 mins to be seen....and she takes very few insurance plans. But if you want a smart, efficient doc, then she is the one!

My daughter's pediatrician referred me to a dermatologist in my plan but neither doctor was able to correctly diagnose her. I was told by a friend about a pediatric dermatologist, Dr. Lieber and tried her even though she was not on my insurance. Dr. Lieber seemed to know instantly what it was and wrote 2 prescriptions that cleared her up in a week or two. She definitely knows her stuff! Would go to her again instantly even though the cost is out of pocket.

Firstly, the receptionist seem stressed and inconvienced by my presence. They are quick to talk with you and to get you off the phone. The office is barren, old, and unkepmt. The sink in the opt is was in was full of rust and looked disgusting. Why do I know so many details of the rooms? Because I was waiting for a full hour before Dr Lieber saw me. When she finally came in, I told her about my condition. She asked me few questions and spent most of her time writing up a script for blood work at an outside lab. Her preliminary diagnosis, which I understand would be vague without blood work, was that I have dry hands or a rare disorder - of which she did not tell me the name of or anything about! Way to get someone to worry! She literally spent less than 5 minutes with me, then I was shot out the door with directions to get my blood work done and come back in three weeks. No bedside manner, she even spelled my name wrong on the script. I left feeling very upset and… dissapointed with my decision to try her practice. I'm going to get a second opinion...

I must admit I was skeptical of Dr. Lieber's recommended treatment for my 1 yr. old's eczema. However after 4 days of following her treatment plan, my son's stubborn eczema cleared up! It was well worth going to see Dr. Lieber even though it was out of network. She apparently knows her stuff.
