Dr. Colin S. Beach, MD

The 10 minutes that I was with doctor beach he looked at me maybe once. Didn’t even feel like he truly cared about any of my concerns. He rushed through the whole visit. Told me I was overweight which was a shock to me. I told him about a bump I discovered and he insisted that I just bruised the area. I asked him if he could check it out but he just brushed it off and told me it will go down and everything is fine. I went to another doctor and it was a cyst. I will no longer be going back to doctor beach.

I have seen both Beach and his nurse practitioner, both were a waste of time and Beach is a rude man! Beach walks in the room and never even looks at you; he has no eye contact, he just looks at his computer. If you go in for a check-up, he focuses on your weight and degrades you about it. I need to lose 12 pounds and yet he acts like I am morbidly obese. He will not listen to anything you say. You go for a complaint and tell him and then he asks you what you just said. He sends you off to a few doctors so Florida Medical Clinic can make more bucks, and then when you come back he has no clue to why you are there and no answers. His nurse practitioner is just as bad. I was on a medication which Beach did refill monthly for about 7 months and then the office said I had to come in for a visit to have it refilled again. beach couldn't see me, so I saw the nurse. When I tried to get my refill, she said I could no longer have it unless I go to a specialist from Florida Medical. Horrific… experience for one year. I have changed doctors.

Office administration is horrible. In any other industry these people would be let go.

Dr Beach is not the nicest doctor out there. He is rude and talks down to you. He really should go back to school and take a class on being professional

I have been a patient of Dr Beach for 12 years. I have seen his staff grow and have used their services as well. He utilizes medical students from USF for some of the routine visits. I have no issue with having a medical student perform the initial exam and Dr Beach follows behind. Getting an appointment with Dr Beach can take up to a week depending upon what time of day you fits your schedule. I have no problem with this since you can get a same day appointment with one of his competent staff members. I scored follow up low because I always have to initiate follow up visits and sometimes getting lab results requires a phone call. I figure this is par for the course with just about any other physician.

Have been a patient for many years and do not feel that this physician is interested in me or has the knowledge base I need. He gives most of his patients to his PAs. Am very disturbed by how he (did not) treat me during my last visit from a clinical standpoint. Will not go out of his way to help.
