Dr. Colleen M Borelli, MD

Dr. Borelli is a kind, knowledgeable, excellent doctor. She answered every question I had regarding my health. She asked about my professional and personal life. I shared I had an upcoming board exam. At my next appointment, she came in the room all smiles and asked if I passed. It was something small but it meant a lot. She is truly a caring, wonderful person. At the procedure I had this morning, she was excellent yet again. Kind and calm. I had concerns post-op and called the office, leaving a message. Within 5 minutes, she returned the call and spoke to me directly. She went above and beyond. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone.

I have been going to Dr Borelli for about 5 years now. She delivered my daughter and has taken great care of me during my pregnancy and after. She is also very thorough in her exams, and when I couldn’t have mammograms due to prolonged breastfeeding I felt comfortable after seeing her that everything was ok. In my prior experiences with other OBGYNs, while they might be good OBs, some don’t pay enough attention to breast heath. Dr Borelli has a great bed-side manner but the main reason I keep coming back is that I truly feel that my health is in best hands possible.

I was a patient of Dr. Borelli’s for several months while my husband and I were trying to conceive. I would schedule a full length consultation about once a month because I had only gotten my pd once in 8 months making it nearly impossible to conceive. At every appointment Dr. Borelli breezed in, told me nothing was wrong, offered to appease me w/ bloodwork and subsequently rushed me out the door. The bloodwork continuously came back “normal” but I had no time to discuss because the doctor would never call w/ the results herself, questions asked or return phone calls requested went unanswered. At my 1st visit with my new Dr. (Winterling) she noted that only cycle day 3 bloodwork provides accurate results and w/in 2 weeks I was diagnosed. Borelli is a WASTE of time - has poor bedside manner, told me it was in my head, lacks the skills to diagnose common conditions and seemingly doesn’t care to which should terrify any potential patients. I would NEVER recommend her to my worst enemy.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Borelli today. As a new patient I was shocked that Dr, Borelli was in and out of the room in less than 5 minutes. She had not reviewed my chart and therefore did not know that the lump she found had been documented and is being followed. At no point did she say we need to continue to follow it. Also, she was not aware of my previous PAP results that had been positive in the past. I never got to ask questions. Overall, a very negative experience. I will not be returning.

Dr Borelli recently delivered my baby girl. All three doctors at this practice are wonderful, but she was my favorite one to see during my pregnancy. It was a high risk pregnancy, and as such a very emotionally difficult one. Dr Borelli has a great bedside manner; she patiently answered my endless questions and helped ease my concerns. She was also understanding and respectufl of my desire to have as few interventions as possible at delivery. Most importantly, Dr Borelli made all the right decisions and recommendations (and clearly explained the rationale behind them) that resulted in a safe pregnancy and a natural delivery of a healthy baby girl. I also have to command the nurses and the reception staff in this practice - all were kind, patient and accomodating.
