Dr. Connie Jo Sterling, MD

Dr. Sterling is highly competent and a very good chat. I have been a patient for many years. I like her a lot and recommend her as a PCP. Sometimes it is difficult to get a timely appointment for drug refills. Her staff used to be incredibly bad, but there has been a turnover in the last few years and the newbies are much friendlier and I sense that problem has been solved...

I have been a patient for twenty plus years and have always found Doctor Sterling to be extremely professional and polite. Her bedside manner excels.

Dr. Sterling (or her staff) has canceled my appointments more than I can count. It seems that the only way you can get a doctors appointment is by her time only. Their staff also either doesn't call to communicate the cancellation with you until the day of or the day before. Also Dr. Sterling will only permit discussion of one ailment or health problem per visit, so if you have more than one problem medically, you're not getting another appointment for that until she has time for you. Overall, the service and professionalism at this office is severely lacking.

Competent and caring, and a good coordinator of other specialists when you need that due to a major problem. Do not expect to discuss more than one issue at a visit, however. Feel that's more an insurance issue than a care issue, it's a good practice overall, and having the lab onsite saves time and $$ since you can get most stuff done 'inhouse'.

After 3 yrs, I decided to change doctor because when I need Dr. Sterling's care the most, she advised me to make another appoitment because she was just too busy to listen to me. So sad, I was having chest pains and heart flutters. Maybe I needed attention right then.
