Connor Burnside, DO, MPH

Connor Burnside, DO, MPH, is a board-certified geriatric psychiatrist with training in general and geriatric psychiatry. He earned his medical degree and a Master of Public Health from Dr. Kiran C. Patel NSU College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Dr. Burnside completed his general psychiatry residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL and developed an interest in treating older adults. He further pursued a fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at Cambridge Health Alliance in Cambridge MA, which focused on treating later life psychiatric illness as well as cognitive disorders. Most recently, he served as a staff psychiatrist with Veterans Health Administration in Lakeland, FL, where he diagnosed and treated mental health conditions in an outpatient setting. He additionally has experience working in a Consultative Liaison role in a hospital setting to treat comorbid psychiatric and medical illnesses.
