Dr. Constance Marian Chen

At our first consultation I fell in love with her! She is very informative, thorough, manage and oversees patient care. She works well with the insurance company to ensure payment. She has not done the breast re-construction surgery as yet, however her quality and standards for patient care is excellent. Her prerequisites will ensure a successful reconstruction surgery. She is taking awesome care of my daughter. Thank you Dr. Chen. From my heart!

Dr. Chen is a aging. She is calm, self assured and prodigiously talented. Her attention to detail is far above any other Dr. I have seen and she spends time to thoroughly explain everything and put you at ease. She is very sought after, so there can sometimes be a minor waiting time, but that is only as she doesn't short shrift anyone while she is with them. Great Drs. Do not always run on 15 minute increments like robots, but they are well worth the wait! Dr. Chen's office team are pleasant and efficient and I look forward to seeing them all when I visit. They work together like a family and their follow-up is amazing. You could not find yourself in better hands!

A brilliant, caring surgeon who along with a lovely staff provides exceptional skill in every aspect of helping a woman understand her options and achieve her choice. Patients are treated as individuals and great attention to detail is provided. This doctor is the go to person to have great results and feel truly cared for!

I had 3 second stage surgeries in 2013 and 2014. There were some complications, but sometimes that happens so I didn't mind that. However, there were some times that Dr Chen and I had a failure to communicate which resulted in some things I was unhappy about. The worst was that she made an incision on my breast in a 12 o'clock position which was not marked before surgery and which I would not have allowed because now I have a scar that is sometimes visible. She could have done the incision in a different position so it wouldn't be visible. Many times, I waited a long time for Dr Chen to arrive at the appointments. Some times she was not even in the office when I arrived, even after I phoned ahead not 30 minutes before the appointment time to check she was running on time! One time this happened the night before surgery, and I left and had to come back 2 hours later. Just what you need the night before surgery! The staff are lovely people, but it took them a long time to get things… done, like phone the hospital to arrange a date for surgery, or to review the pre-surgical test results. After surgery, Dr Chen did not wait to see me and tell me how everything went. She just discharged me and left the hospital. In fact, I had asked to stay the night, but her office did not submit the correct paperwork so I could not, and Dr Chen was not willing to try to make it happen. She did not try to call me by phone either when I was awake. I had to call her the next day to find out how everything went!!

I was highly impressed with Dr Chen and her Staff.All Staff are very courteous and warm. I felt at ease with my decision and I feel this was due to Dr Chen's Confidence and her calmness. The hospital I was at had Nurses that were very well trained to deal with pt's having this type of surgery. I never felt rushed at any of my appointments with Dr Chen and felt like she really listened to me. I have completed Stage 1 and am happy with the results.
