This doc has a 2 star rating at her previous practice. Is she bouncing from practice to practice to avoid worse reviews? My son needed a physical and his doctor (two offices over) was booked up 2 weeks and we couldn't wait. Consuelo viewed his chart and refused the physical because he didn't bring in his reading glasses. I explained that last year he passed without his glasses and nobody said I had to have them for the exam. I then suggested that her practice be more consistent with the exams since it wasn't an issue last year. I asked her if he needed his inhaler as well. She had no clue he had one although it was listed in his chart. She asked him when he used it last and his response was "over a year". Without answering the question, she looked at me and said "sorry, I'm here until 8pm if you want to bring him back with his glasses". Then when she left the room leaving the door open, she says it's a safety issue and disappeared around the corner. Um, what was the safety issue, and… why didn't she stay to explain? Not knowing if we should stay in the room or leave, we stood there for a few minutes in the hall realizing she wasn't coming back, so we left. About 20 minutes later my wife receives a call telling her I'm not allowed back there, really? Sorry your doctor couldn't answer a few simple questions as to why one practice (again, two offices down) signed off on his physical but your doctor that didn't even look over his chart and refused the business. Obviously your doc has terrible bed-side manners and cannot answer questions. Probably no friends to practice a little Q and A with. Don't worry, if you hire docs like this, I don't want to come back, nor will my community want that type of service. Sincerely, local business owner spreading the word.
