Dr. Cori Anne Dyson, MD

She impacted my mental health in such a disastrous way. She overprescribes and is a glorified pill dispenser. Mind you I saw her for years before my therapist, who works under her, convinced me that it’s best to change. She was shocked every time I told her Dr. Dyson was doing nothing for the things I’ve been through, I won’t get into it but in the last year the trauma I’ve experienced has left me unable to sleep, nightmares every night. I did everything she ever told me and I made huge progress in therapy before this last year. I cannot imagine knowing a patient, their life circumstances, seeing such progress with their therapist after years and then to see them be impacted by SEVERE trauma and do nothing… essentially abandoning me. She actually somehow said “I don’t think you’re actually trying”………….. I’ve never been let down by a doctor in this way and I had undiagnosed endometriosis for years and years… 2 surgeries bc of late diagnosis…. I genuinely feel more let down by Dr. Dyson… because she has made me feel more hopeless, made me feel like I’m not trying when I was clearly struggling with dangerous thoughts. I wouldn’t be surprised if she had patients commit suicide purely due to her failure to act and do anything other than push narcotics onto them.
