Dr. Corinne N Tuckey-Larus, MD

I’m a first time patient and came for menopausal issues. I ended up waiting 30 min before she saw me, she told me more about her own symptoms than listened to mine, was called out for an ongoing delivery after 7 min with me and disappeared for another 30 minutes. When she came back she was so rushed she barely sat down, spoke a mile-a-minute, crammed three packs of estrogen creams in my hands, told me what she had decided and was going to prescribe me and ushered me out of the room. It’s not that I don’t trust her skills and knowledge but she obviously has so many pre-conceived assumptions that it’s hard to trust that she really made an individual evaluation of my body, and didn’t just go with some standardised response.

Dr. Tuckey has performed a D&C after a miscarriage, a LEEP procedure after she found high grade dysplasia and is now treating me for lichen sclerosus. Yes, she is abrupt, often rushed and not very gentle at times and I do not care. If my life is in the hands of someone, I want them to be very sharp, competent and aggressive in their approach. She listens even if it appears as if she is not because she processes very quickly. She is caring even if its not in the traditional "poor baby" way. I am a Ph. D. in the sciences and have a hard time finding someone who is competent and not defensive when they have a patient with intelligence. In my opinion, she is a star and if you want someone who will fight for you, she is the one. If you need a gentle, sweet mother figure who stays a long time in the room with you (likely because they don't have very many patients) she is not your gal. However, if you are aware that sometime in your life, your health will be entirely in someone's hands,… she will be a solid choice.

She does not demonstrate the ability to develop rapport and has terrible bed side manner. She is rude, will talk over you, and makes you feel rushed. Does not empathize with the patient’s situation. She’s fine for a regular in and out appointment, but if something goes wrong, she is not who you want to have in your corner. I have been to other wonderful doctors at this practice!

I’m a busy mom and I appreciate not waiting around doctors’ offices. My Dr. Is Corrine Tuckey-Larus and I’ve been seeing her since 25 years. She delivered all three of my children and I can’t imagine someone else delivering them. I love her enthusiasm and her incredible knowledge in the field of women’s health.

Worse experience ever, waited over and hour to see this doctor then she spends five minutes in my room. She was very rude and abrupt and made me feel very uncomfortable She down played my symtoms and didn't have any compassion for me or my situation. I couldn't get a word in before she cut me off and talked over me.

This woman was so unprofessional. She argued with me anytime I asked her a question, she moved my due date up almost two weeks without telling me, causing me to induce my son too early and giving him problems, then to top it off, she checked my cervix after she was aggravated with me and purposely used no lubrication on her gloved fingers and shoved it in me very forcefully. I bled for days after she was unusually aggressive with that exam. I was only 16. I don't know how many other poor women/girls she has done this to and I can only hope I'm the only one. It still affects me 3 years later. I would not recommend this woman to anybody.

I was going to Dr. Turkey for a few years now, but as the years have gone I she hasn't been the same. She has somewhat of an attitude when you ask questions, she's in and out very quickly. There have been several times I have had to wait because she has an emergency and needs to go to the hospital next door. I have waited over an hour for her to come back, explaining why I was so late to work didn't go well on those days. She has a very high disfavor about affordable health care and will tell you how she feels about it. There are people out there that have this because their job does not provide them with health care. What else does she expect a person to do. My patients with her has gone far enough from the comments, attitude, waiting ect. It seems as tho she is not humble anymore and I pay to be seen and not rushed. I have also had surgery done twice by her on the same problem which was supposed to have been corrected the first time.

Tuckey-Larus has been practing for many years. Sometimes people get about themselves when they are successful in their profession. My annual was approximately 7 min. after an hour wait. She has so many patients that she is in and out. No compassion about my feelings or what's going on with me and very sarcastic. Her professionalism is very poor. I'll never go to her again.

Excellent Doctor!! Have been going to her for years and she has always been thorough in her exams and always shown compassion over my health. She has always followed up with me when needed and has an excellent bed side manner. If you want a good female doctor she is one of the best!
