Dr. Bovee is absolutely amazing! She is caring and compassionate about her patients. She is your girl for Glaucoma any day of the week.

I saw Dr. Bovee and she was extremely personable. She took her time with me, explained everything thoroughly and was incredibly funny! I had read the recent bad review on here and had to write my own because Dr. Bovee is amazing and working in the medical field myself, I have no doubt in my mind that maybe the person who wrote that review was a difficult person independently.

Just had my scheduled visit with Newsom Eyes. Greeted and treated my Hayley, Alyssa and Zack. Dr. Bovee is Amazing! I have confidence, my eyes are in Great hands. Thank you Dr. Bovee and your staffed professionals!

She refused treatment and refused to discuss my conditions. She dilated me a second time pouring the drops into my eyes, mistaking it for numbing drops. She was confused and had no short term memory and seemed very humored for this being a serious situation. I realized quickly something was very very wrong. She could not even tell me weather or not I had cataracts. Despite what their website says about her (Harvard, board certified) she actually was a USF med student.

I am glad I see Dr. Bovee for my eye care needs. Kind and cheerful.

Grateful I found a glaucoma doctor to treat my high eye pressure. Since moving, I havent been able to find a specialist. My insurance gave me her information and was able to be seen quickly. I was so relieved to see how much time she took to understand my complex history and all of the procedures I had in the past...Ive had alot! The eye doctor I saw when I moved rushed over my paperwork and did not appear to understand my complex history. Dr. Bovee was different. I could tell she had extensive experience in treating patients like me who have problems that are more complex. Thank you Dr. Bovee!!! I appreciate your help, care and compassion. Dr Bovee was exactly what I’ve been looking for in a doctor. I went to several other doctors in the area without success in treating my eye problems. Once I found her my search was over. I would highly recommend. Do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment with her.

I brought my mother to see Dr. Bovee for a several month period of poor vision. Her reviews online were accurate. She is a delightful, sharp, proficient and educated doctor. My mom was so happy to be in such great hands. I saw Dr. Bovee for my elevated eye pressures. I had seen several eye doctors in the past, none of which were able to control my glaucoma. Dr. Bovee saw me in her Mount Dora office. Her staff was so helpful. She was able to preform a laser treatment to lower my eye pressure 14 points!! I am forever grateful for her compassion, extra time she spent with me and extensive knowledge about glaucoma. Elizabeth M
