Dr. Abbott is an excellent Dr. He detected cancer (melanoma) in one of my moles, and got me an appt. with an excellent surgeon immediately!! Everything went so quickly, and after 2 surgeries, and 2 years later, I am Cancer Free! Its all because of Dr. Abbott! Would recommend him highly!!

I had one visit with this doctor, and they did an office procedure to remove and biopsy two spots on my neck/ear. The staff was extremely rude and inefficient, and I only saw the PA, who performed the procedure. After giving them my copay, I had to wait around for 20 minutes just to get the receipt. About a week later when the lab results came back, a nurse called and we were informed that there were two different variations of basal cell carcinoma, one of which needed to be treated. She said there were a couple of different treatment options, only one of which they performed at their office. She could give price and details about the treatment they offered (radiation), but gave no details about the other procedure and was basically unhelpful. When asked if we could speak to the doctor about the options, she replied "The doctor doesn't speak to patients". Really? I'm pretty sure that kind thing is covered in medical school. I was able to get them to have the PA call me, but his pitch… for the radiation treatment they offer sounded more like a guy trying to sell me a used car than it did professional, medical advice. We finally decided to have them release the pathology results to us and see a different dermatologist. The new dermatologist visit was actually with a doctor, which sat down and went over each treatment option with us in great detail. After having told Dr. Abbot's office THREE different times we were using a different dermatologist, I received a letter in the mail from them telling me they were terminating our "physician-patient relationship", because it was not "optimizing my medical care". It's kind hard to have "physician-patient relationship" if the doctor "doesn't talk to patients". Idiots.

The front office staff at this office completely ruins any good experience I may have had. The woman who handles the billing shirked her duties in filing and following up with my insurance and after only ONE statement sent me to collections. Turns out their office neglected to follow up and submit the information my insurance was needing. The rudeness and snarky attitude would not be tolerated
