Dr. Craig Dale Fisher, MD

Dr. Fisher was the anesthesiologist for my surgery. The surgery was fine. It was after surgery in the recovery room that Dr. Fisher who was also the Medical Director kicked me out of the recovery room only 90 minutes after I had major surgery. I said I was in too much pain still to leave and sit in a car for 2 hours in traffic. The nurse said it was fine for me to stay a bit longer to rest before leaving and Dr. Fisher yelled at me to get dressed and leave because it was an inappropriate use of their time and resources. He said they have done all they can and even asked what more he could do. I responded by saying he could let me rest a little more. No one was waiting for a bed and they weren't closing. He said it was not acceptable and that I was fully recovered and needed to leave. He said all of this with no empathy and a big smirk on his face. He was unbelievably unprofessional. It was the worst experience I've ever had post-surgery. He elevated my stress levels and made my pain… much worse than it already was. I would not ever recommend having Dr. Craig D. Fisher as your anesthesiologist.
