Dr. Craig Anthony Hartman, DO

Although I just recently learned that this place shut down and that Dr. Hartman or his staff are no longer at SVWH, I still want people to know how great of a doctor he is/was. I only wish he knew how much this makes me sad because now I have to go out and find a new one (which will be hard to find). I wish I had some kind of closure to find out what happened but to my dismay, I have no news and I'm unsettled by this. It is SO hard to find a good doctor in this town. Especially someone who will take their time to address your questions and concerns. His staff was just as awesome as him and always remembered you by name and face. Dr. Hartman delivered my daughter and was supposed to deliver my twin boys this past year but because the boys wanted to show up early, he was not on call that night they came. He is such a caring doctor and made sure my overall health throughout both my pregnancies went smoothly. My only regret is that I never got the chance to tell him how awesome he is at… his job and I have heard nothing but great things of him by other patients.

I had a great experience with Dr Hartman! He is very kind and compasionate! Not only that but as well he is knowlegable and possitive! He had performed my 3rd & 4th c section which was awesome! I was up as soon as they allowed me to walk! I only needed pain releif for 1 day! He did such a great job! I would recommend him to anyone who is pregnant or just needs a routine check up!

Dr Hartman and his staff are awesome. The wait is usually never more than 5-10 minutes. I was 4 months pregnant when our insurance kicked in and they were able to see me the next day. Dr Hartman is very knowledgable and kind - he takes the time to make sure you know what he's talking about and always asks if you have any questions. They have an ultrasound machine in office which is very convenient - they also draw blood on site. Love them!

I got pregnant and saw this other doctor an he told me I needed to get a caesarean and I was only 7 weeks along. That made me really nervous so I asked my sister who her doctor was when she had her son. I watched her delivery and liked her doctor, Dr. Hartman. He had excellent bedside manner, and he allowed my sisters body to do whatever it needed to do while she was delivering. I came to him and when I was pregnant, Dr. Hartman took very good care of me, and was always informative. A trip to his office was as painless as it could be, being that you are allowing someone to practically violate you. Very short time frames and waits. I was always out in 30 minutes or less, except when I had my glucose test. The staff is always friendly and informative. It is very clean. I never really had many questions to ask, but I would have liked more information when I came in. Sometimes it can be hard to get in, but well worth the wait.

Dr. Hartman is the best doc I've ever been to. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field, but does not talk down to you. You can tell he really cares about you and your baby and takes the time to get to know you. The thing that stumps me is you never have to wait long to get called back, yet he spends as much time with you as you need. So, how he doesn't get backed up is beyond me??? Overall - excellent.

I got very sick with food poisoning during my pregnancy- had to call him at 1am, returned call right away- was very helpful and calmed me down. He has always taken the time to answer all of our questions, very professional,intelligent, informative, and respectful. Same for Dr. Plotnitskiy. Staff is great as well. I'm lucky to have them as my doctors!

I was surprised at how kind and caring he actually is the dr. who delivered my first baby was kind of crazy. Dr. Hartman is the nicest doctor I think I have ever met in my life. He didn't get to deliver me because he was vacationing on the Mexican Riviera or something but he did my follow-ups. He is amazing!

Dr. Hartman was very thorough on diagnosis and treatment of my fibroid issues ultimately ending up with surgery. Bedside manner and follow up were excellent.
