Dr. Craig Adam Kovitz, MD

Dr. Kovitz is the best doctor I've ever had.

Dr. Kovitz treats you as a person, not just a patient. He's compassionate and answers all questions. He spends as much time as needed with each patient. He has called my home several times, personally, to be sure we were doing ok with the oral chemo. He could have had his staff do this, but took time out of his busy schedule to call us personally.

Dr. Kovitz is very caring and really listens. He works with a team, is not afraid to seek extra counsel from other doctors to make sure you get the treatment best suited to your individual situation. He clearly knows what he is talking about but also takes the time to make sure he gets all the facts before prescribing treatment. He is happy to answer questions, answers them clearly and in layman's terms, doesn't make you feel like he is in a hurry and has a cautious approach. We love him!

This doctor is a joke. I went in for iron deficiency and he ran thousands of dollars worth of tests for cancer when he had no provocation to do so. He did not explain one test to me and never explained the cost of the tests. He gave me no choice and scared me with his exuberance to test me on all of this stuff even though I had NO SYMPTOMS!!!! My new hematologist even questioned why he did the tests he did. He is a money hungry quack!

I was so fortunate to get Dr. Kovitz as my Doctor. He is amazing. Dr. Kovitz spends time each and every visit. He takes hs time and explains to the detail. All of my family went to my first visit and he welcomed us all with opened arms. He answered all our questions and started my treatments right away. he came to visit with me on my second treatment to let us know that he had good news for us on further treatment. His voice sounded encouraging and we left that day feeling very positive. Thank you Dr. Kovitz.

I think he is a wonderful doctor. He is very knowledgeable and takes tme with his patients and their concerns.

My experience at MD Anderson Bay Area has been amazing. The staff are all extremely professional and very warm and caring as is Dr. Kovitz.Dr. Kovitz has a wonderful manner and truely cares about each and every patient. Look up his stats online. He has superior schooling and is a top notch Oncologist.There is no doubt I could not have found better treatment for cancer anywhere else, and how wonderful to have a world class treatment center in Clear Lake!I rate my experience 5 stars!

I could not answer some of the questions because it was another doctor who actually got the appointment for me with him . He was not the actual one who diagnosed me so I could not answer that either although he did agree with the diagnosis. He is very friendly and he sat down and really explained things to me about the treatment he will be giving me. He is an outstanding doctor and I trust him with my treatments which really is like saying that I trust him with my life.Thank-you Dr Kovitz!!!
